White ribbon was for a drive-by graduation "ceremony" at a local school.  The school put the ribbons on trees for about 1/4 mile.

Gotta love how the governor has already said he'd pardon them if they get convicted.

That he said it immediately without knowing the facts as found by the trier of fact tells you all you need to know about how fucked we are if we do not resist. I'm thinking it's time for a 20 Million Patriot March on Washington demanding that Trump resign. There is no defense better than an aggressive offense. Of course, we can always continue to deplore it all.

This whole pardoning thing needs to be revisited.

Personally I don’t think any individual should have the ability to sidestep the justice system like that.

The Founders put a great deal of trust in the wisdom and faithfulness of Congress and the Executive. Apparently, they never imagined the people would actually have so much say in who might be elected.

Mark McCloskey, who announced in May that he was running for a U.S. Senate seat in Missouri, was unapologetic after the hearing.  After all pleading guilty in such an offense for a lawyer is a big plus in GOP circles

As if campaigning for a a senate seat already “I’d do it again,” he said from the courthouse steps in downtown St. Louis. “Any time the mob approaches me, I’ll do what I can to put them in imminent threat of physical injury because that’s what kept them from destroying my house and my family.”
