Yes trump loves communists. He has fulfilled a promise to China and Xi. Trump promised China US silence on Hong Kong protests during trade talks. from Oct. 4, 2019

Today Xi and communist China took possession of Hong Kong in violation of its treaty with the people of Hong Kong and with the UK. Seven and a half million freedom loving Hong Kong residents are now fully under communist control.

The UK, EU and Nato have expressed concern and anger after China passed a controversial security law giving it new powers over Hong Kong.

The law makes secession, subversion of the central government, terrorism or collusion with foreign forces punishable by up to life in prison.

It took effect from 2300 local time (1500 GMT) on Tuesday.

Hong Kong's leader Carrie Lam defended the law, saying it filled a "gaping hole" in national security.

One key pro-democracy group said it was now ceasing all operations.

American service personnel should hide their heads in shame for the recognition of a coward like trump as their commander.

I expect this will get very ugly there.

I would hope all of the American owned companies there would pull out, but I highly doubt they will. Until they start losing their shirts anyway.

So far, hundreds have been arrested and could face life in prison. In China. Jebus.

Trump is so far quiet about the new laws.

If they could they would.  They cannot.  Even if the US completely turned their back militarily it would be an extremely difficult and bloody campaign and long term occupation by mainlanders.  China is simply not currently capable of crossing a body of water and exerting control.

Yes, I agree that Taiwan would be a very tough battle for them. If they went in 100% they would win but the price would be very high. But lower under Trump than under any other president.

trump's wall is finally doing its job. trump has worked hard to ensure that the Mexican border is secure. That no illegals can cross it.

Mexico finally got the message and is doing its part to keep it secure."Sonoyta Mayor José Ramos Arzate issued a statement Saturday “inviting U.S. tourists not to visit Mexico.” He closed the border.

And why shouldn't they. That makes perfect sense. Their citizens come here, work a little bit, and get the virus. You wouldn't want them going back home and spreading this in Mexico. Keep them in the US. Plus you get the added benefit of having those people not burdening the Mexican healthcare system. Make them stay in the US and burden that system. It is a win-win situation.

The more I think about it, this whole virus action/inaction is all parts of Trump's master plan to limit the influx of illegal aliens. Well played, Trump. Well played.

With the added benefit of reducing minority lives as well.

I'm curious if the religious gathering infections were intentional though. Oops seems more fitting given so many of them are worshipers of the Holy Trumpster.
