Im askin' because to see if they have best qualify training before i start speak with instructors at there. if you P.M. me, I could get your contact info and pass it along to graduates. and you can speak with them personally. you will love the farm, all the newbie jumpers do, you will have to come by to see why. but you will always have someone to jump with. plus there is some highly experienced canopy pilots there, and some world class freefliers stop by on a regular basis. and the bonus for most is that there is a large belly flier crowd there also. it is a fun jumpers dropzone. stop by this weekend. you will have a blast. as for the training, it is top notch. the instructors there are very good at what they do. rehmwa 2 #8 May 25, 2006 QuoteSeriously. Point cheerfully taken. Drop the Man - call all the local DZs and ask questions. If you get a positive vibe from one, then it's likely the one for you. Someone here will give you firsthand info, likely. Look for real input, not just cheerleading by jumpers for their local DZ. If you can get an AFF instructor to comment much better than just another jumper, no matter how enthusiastic they are. Even go hang out there for a day (best thing you can do) and just watch and soak it in. It's not hard to figure it out if you take the time to do that. ... Did not do my AFF there, but have jumped there a few times since and have jumped with several different instructors there. They are all top notch and they all will take the time to make you feel comfortable and help you learn. I love the fact that they always find somebody to jump with you, be it staff or other jumpers. I've only done one solo there and that was a high hop-n-pop. Everything else has been some sort of 2 way or larger. It's 96 miles one way for me and worth every mile!!
