Guest #1 Posted November 20, 2020 (edited) He admitted that he killed Faulkner. His own attorneys admitted it. Hell, his own BROTHER admitted he did it! So did four eyewitnesses. His death sentence was commuted to life, and now this piece of shit is calling for his release. What a fucked up world we live in. https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/culture/jay-maxson/2020/11/18/kaepernick-rant-cop-killers-life-stolen-away-his-loved-ones Edited November 20, 2020 by Guest

wmw999 2,447 #3 November 20, 2020 Is prison for punishment or the protection of society? If it's for punishment, then I guess he stays, but I'm not sure that's as good a use of our tax dollars. Protection of society is a better use. That's why we have parole, halfway houses, and all the rest. Because people who are on the outside are cheaper to support than people on the inside. And if you saw your brother being attacked, even if by a police officer, would you defend him? I mean actual, birth, brother. Kaepernick has every right to advocate for whatever he wants; that goes into his "how I see things" box, just as your views go into your "how I see things" box. And holding opinions that are different from yours doesn't make someone a piece of shit; if it did, there'd be you and a shitty world. No one aligns down the line with anyone. Wendy P. wolfriverjoe 1,523 #4 November 20, 2020 Where did he "admit he killed Faulkner"? He's maintained his innocence since the beginning. There were allegations of prosecutorial misconduct. But there's a dead cop and a black man to be blamed. So there you go.
wmw999 2,447 #5 November 20, 2020 Philadelphia police have always been good at getting confessions. Frank Rizzo had a lot to do with that -- he was police commissioner, then a "get tough" anti-desegregation mayor. Methinks he might have had an agenda. Even if he wasn't actually the mayor in 1981 when the murder happened, he'd set the tone and been the voice for "my way or the highway, suck it minorities" for a long, time. And a pretty good example of why strongman administrations don't set up generations of people complying in a free country. Wendy P.
