Even if they were running the Capitol tours for future rioters that Democrats are alleging I think successful prosecution would still be extremely unlikely. OTOH if evidence can be found to show that they did feel the need for a pardon and asked for one, that should surely be grounds enough for immediate ethics committee hearing and for them to face a vote on expulsion from the house. Double odd. Apparently Gosar has family members who fear he may have committed treasonous acts related to the insurrection. I'm not giving that much yet as they are reported to have decided he was a jerk before the storming of the Capitol.

Don't be so sure. If it can be shown that the insurrectionists were planning shenanigans, and it can be shown that those guys either were or should have been aware of those plans, and they facilitated tours of the Capitol the day before the insurrection attempt; then there's grounds for a conspiracy charge. Whether or not the prosecutors can get a conviction is a different story, but the idea of 'throwing everything at the wall' to see what they can get them to plead guilty to is a very strong possiblity. phantomII 37 #108 January 20, 2021 As far as I know, pardons have not to be published. So I wonder who has one in his pocket that never see the light of day unless an indictment is handed.
