SkyDekker 1,465 #1 Posted December 12, 2020 I always thought that things like apple pie, burgers, big cars, pickup trucks, showbiz where things that were quintessentially American. But today I had to change my opinion. I don't think anything is more quintessentially American than the President's personal lawyer hawking gold on the internet... But today I had to change my opinion. I don't think anything is more quintessentially American than the President's personal lawyer hawking gold on the internet... That's hilarious! "Call them and ask them what I bought." I can just see that now. Caller: So what did Rudy buy? Operator: He bought the most gold ever. Caller: How much did he buy? Operator: Well, see, he's being audited, so it's illegal to tell you exactly how much he bought. But it was a LOT. "They can deliver gold to your doorstep. Or into your IRA." American Hartford Gold guy shows up at Fidelity with a bag of gold. "So, uh, we have a customer who wants to put gold in his IRA. Is his IRA here?" Fidelity guy: "Uh . . . you realize that an IRA is an account, right? It's not like we have a box of money for the guy." American Hartford: "Oh OK. Well if he asks can you just sorta say that we actually did put the gold in his account?"
Phil1111 1,149 #3 December 12, 2020 They run a typical coin precious metals scam. This is their website.. Note the endorsement from Bill O'Reilly. The first clue is they don't list purchase prices for coins, for small bars, the current daily price of gold and silver. The price is "call us". So they sell all kinds of "collectable and special minting" gold and silver coins. All of which sell at a premium over the face value of gold and silver. None of which will ever be collectable. This is the type of website that trades gold and silver at minimums over the current value. They will always have a constantly adjusted price over(for buying) called the premium and a price under the daily market price(if your selling). They typically sell US eagles, Canadian Maple leafs and South African Krugerrands. When a pigeon calls the idea is to sell them "collectable" precious metal coins at huge premiums over their actual precious metal value. This is the result from the BBB: "Hartford sales misrepresented the value of silver coins which resulted in a $**** loss. I contacted Hartford Gold to purchase silver bullion on 7/26/19. The invoice Hartford salesman, **** ******* insisted I purchase JFK Silver Half Dollars. I objected, but **** persistently insisted the JFK coin was a better purchase option and was worth a great deal more than silver bullion. This claim was totally false. Ultimately, at **** ********* insistance I invested $**** in JFK's, paying $10/half dollar. I later learned that these coins were worth $7.50/half dollar at the time of purchase. Clearly, **** ******* Hartford misrepresented the true value of these coins." Keep checking their site because rumor has it Donald trump will be endorsing it as at January 21, 2021.
