Phil1111 1,149 #1 Posted January 9, 2021 Was the title of a NYT article on Nov. 7, 2008.. It outlined the school that IS members attended in order to de-radicalize their hateful religious ideology. Now look back to April 19, 1995 and the motivations of Mr.McVeigh US army sergeant, winner of the Bronze Star, honorably discharged. "Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, met in 1988 at Fort Benning during basic training for the U.S. Army.[17] McVeigh met Michael Fortier as his Army roommate.[18] The three shared interests in survivalism.[19][20] McVeigh and Nichols were radicalized by white supremacist and antigovernment propaganda.[21] They expressed anger at the federal government's handling of the 1992 Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) standoff with Randy Weaver at Ruby Ridge, as well as the Waco siege, a 1993 51-day standoff between the FBI and Branch Davidian members that began with a botched Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) attempt to execute a search warrant. There was a firefight and ultimately a siege of the compound, resulting in the burning and shooting deaths of David Koresh and 75 others.[22]" The US is in the midst of a five year, if not two decade, experience of political radicalization. That if not left unchecked will create dozens more Mr.McVeighs. How are political radicals deprogrammed, tribalism and those that feed the ideals. Deprogrammed? Mostly ignored because they are white Christians and not outsiders. The most significant thing done to prevent a repeat is restrictions on large ammonium nitrate purchases. As demonstrated this week their white privilege mostly allows them to escape the scrutiny of most LEOs. Only dedicated units of the security apparatus pay them any attention at all, and under the current administration their resources have been slashed. Phil1111 1,149 #4 January 10, 2021 (edited) A trumpite and QAnon supporter has been watching too much FOX reality TV. Man With Assault Rifle Charged With Threatening Pelosi, Cleveland Grover Meredith Jr., had been staying at a Holiday Inn in Washington and had weapons in his camper-style trailer, including a Glock handgun, a pistol, a Tavor X95 assault rifle and hundreds of rounds of ammunition...he traveled to Washington for the pro-Trump rally on Wednesday... but was too late for the rally and sent a text message saying he would put “a bullet in her noggin on Live TV,” The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Mr. Meredith had erected a billboard in 2018 in Acworth, Ga., that read, “#QANON” along with the name of his business, Car Nutz Car Wash. “I predict that within 12 days, many in our country will die,” Mr. Meredith wrote," Edited January 10, 2021 by Phil1111

Yes, late for the Wednesday "dustup" on the hill. But like the man that brought his assault weapon and Molotov cocktails. Ready for "trial by combat" as President trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani put it.

Fences, barriers, 3 or 4 flavors of cops, guys on the roof with bazookas and they just wandered straight into Pelosi's office to smoke a doobie. Nothing strange about that, I guess. Licensing the dialogue of political radicals inclined to violence creates more. " Four years ago, 90 percent of Republicans would say personal responsibility, character counts, strong on Russia, fiscal sanity, legal immigration, free trade. But now the party’s 100 percent against all these things." The GOP morphed into a party that has two drivers, trump and McConnell. They have one objective fight and destroy democrats. Label democrats as evil, demonize, create a impression that democrats are subhuman. Then any actions against them is legitimized. Think QAnon. Today the party fights the impeachment of trump and many Americans, 34%, still today approve of trump. Seventy four million Americans voted GOP. Over the last two decades the GOP has attacked the state itself as if the state was a cancer. With the exception of the US military, think military industrial complex. The education system is corrupt, it should be privatized. Health care, corrupt, Obamacare a failure, only privatization will work. Welfare, corrupt. Immigration, evil, parasites, "shit-hole" peoples. Thats how Americans have been culturalized. When every component of the state is painted as a parasite upon the citizen. Citizens feel no collective identity. Now compare that with Sweden. Watch the whole video. Now you may think that Swedes pay more taxes than Americans and they do. For a resident of San Francisco they would pay .2 of a percent. Thats point two of a percent higher. brenthutch 444 #11 January 14, 2021 (edited) Sweden is a small, culturally homogeneous country. It is nothing like the US. Even your video eluded to trouble on the horizon with regard to immigration and globalization. In the US folks are voting with their feet and high tax states like New York, New Jersey, Illinois and Connecticut are loosing population. Even California is loosing its native born population. From that link of yours: "Layton felt ashamed at being warped into a cult. "If I could tell this story and explain it to the world, then maybe I could take myself out of the muck of shame," Layton said." IMO 3-4 years from now the cult of trumpism will start to dissolve. Many of his apologists will feel the same way. They will recognize people like Ted Cruz as high priest pretenders. It will take both the GOP and dems to deprogram trumpists.
