I don't know any liberals (not all of them Democrats) who aren't vaccinated. I know there are some, I just don't know any. I do know plenty of conservatives who are vaccinated, but all of the unvaccinated (some of them vocally so) are conservatives, as well. Yes, people are individuals across the ideological. Even liberals. And posting videos as an illustration of what you're thinking, or of what you think we should be "educated" on, without some sort of analysis of the content, is pretty lazy. But you know that, you just don't think we're worth the effort, but you're sure you should be worth the effort of our watching those videos. Wendy P. Jerry Baumchen Hi Jerry, The ones that refuse to answer are likely smart enough to understand that the vaccine is the best way to stay safe. Smart enough to understand that it's been well tested, that it's safe and effective. Also smart enough to understand that the Trump supporters they need to vote for them are idiots. Morons who are opposed to the vaccine. Idiots who would be less likely to vote for them if the idiots knew they had 'gone over' to science.

People of the land. The common clay of the new West? An oddity I heard on NPR a few days ago: In CO, the highest county vaccination rates are in the urban Front Range, and the wealthy resort counties. The rural counties have the lowest rates. No surprise there. But there is an outlier: Little San Juan county, near the SW corner of the state. The largest town (and county seat), is Silverton. The vaccination rate is higher than any other county: 89%. Go figure.

brenthutch 444 #1244 June 26, 2021 (edited) “Those who say the blood of lib — ‘the blood of patriots,’ you know, and all the stuff about how we're going to have to move against the government,” Biden said. “Well, the tree of liberty is not watered with the blood of patriots. What's happened is that there have never been — if you wanted or if you think you need to have weapons to take on the government, you need F-15s and maybe some nuclear weapons.” “Those who say the blood of lib — ‘the blood of patriots,’ you know, and all the stuff” is my favorite part. During the same speech he falsely stated, at the time the second amendment was written private citizens could not own cannon. Not only could civilians own cannon, they could own a battleship with lots of cannon. A broadside of 18 pounders with grape shot could do far more damage than an AR15. As we descended into the valley, we could see the top layer of smog. As we entered it, visibilty went to about 500 feet and we could smell a combination of gasoline, burning tires and plain old smoke. When I started jumping there in 1993, I saw something similar. From jump run you could see straight down, but everywhere else (especially near sunset) was just an orange/yellow glow from the reflection off the smog. Today you can see the San Gabriel mountains from SR73, 50 miles away. So some things have gotten quite a bit better.
