Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed a special council in the Hunter Biden matter. Obviously Barr would have never done the same. As he didn't investigate the Ivanka and Jared WH money grubbing LLC.

Conservatives are throwing a shit-fit because the same prosecutor who cut the original plea deal will be appointed Special Counsel. He was a Trump appointee, so they should have every bit of confidence that he’s “Only the best People”

No only that, the "agreement" between Weiss and Garland was that Weiss would get Special Counsel status if he asked for it. It was actually a point the GOP brought up. They had claimed Weiss had asked for that and Garland had denied it. Weiss had to come out and specifically state he had not asked for Special Counsel Status.

A few days ago Weiss asked to be elevated to Special Counsel status and Garland lived up to his agreement.

The GOP will scream regardless of what happens, that is really all they have...scream, hollow, pointless screams.
