gowlerk 2,193 #2176 April 17, 2024 No matter the outcome, which I predict will be a hung jury, just having the Dotard forced to attend court every day that it is in session is delicious. It will go on for weeks. And a hung jury leaves the possibility of a retrial........
billvon 2,991 #2177 April 17, 2024 Poor Trump is getting closer and closer to bankruptcy. His $300 Air Treasons didn't sell well, and it turns out that not a lot of people want to buy Bibles from a rapist. And now his Truth Social stock is tanking. So he has a new grift! He will be charging any candidate who uses his name 5% of their take. It is highly suggested, though, that they send him more than 5%, because then he will bestow his (intangible) lagresse upon them: “Any split that is higher than 5% will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.” No word yet if they still have to pay if they use references like "the candidate that's not Joe" "the orange menace" "Sleepy Donny" or "Sir Grabs-A-Lot." They're refusing to take up a case that has ZERO EVIDENCE to support the allegations. This is what they should do. It would be 'news' if they DID take up the case. And not 'good' news. The Lincoln project made a video four months ago about it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-4M85B3HNg Adam Kinzinger had this to say about it “It’s not good. The best way to describe it... take armpits, ketchup, a butt and makeup and put that all in a blender and bottle that as a cologne,” he said. “That’s kind of that. I’ve been amazed that everybody is just kind of learning about this now,” he added. ...Whiffs of the allegation permeated social media, with the hashtag #TrumpSmellsBad trending on X. It could be the reason the trial judge signed a judicial order for the court staff to keep the temperature below 50 F. Others had speculated that it was for environmental reasons. Mark Meadows, Rudy Giuliani, Jenna Ellis, John Eastman and Christina Bobb, top campaign adviser Boris Epshteyn, former campaign aide Mike Roman, former state party chair Kelli Ward, state Sens. Jake Hoffman and Anthony Kern, and Tyler Bowyer, a GOP national committeeman and chief operating officer of Turning Point Action, the campaign arm of the pro-Trump conservative group Turning Point USA. Trump was not charged, but he is described in the indictment as an unindicted co-conspirator. His campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
