Mr. Giuliani one time mayor of NYC. Hero of 9/11 recovery efforts in NYC and prosecutor of the mob. Has fallen on hard times since he hitched his wagon to trump. He was just sued by his long time lawyer for $1.3 million in unpaid fees. He owes about $3 million in total in legal bills for his MAGA adventurism.

No longer a hero of the right after he went under the wheels of the trump bus. He can't even fund-raise to pay his bills.

He has other worries of course. Like the $2.7 billion dollar defamation lawsuit filed by Smartmatic.Where he is refusing to provide disclosure and documents.

Hi Phil,

Rudy is the poster boy for 'post-trump-legal-actions.'

Anyone considering jumping on the Trump bandwagon should stop & take notice.  Then again, 'I love the uneducated.'

Oh yeah. This thread will go on for another 5-6 years at least. There is no sympathy from this corner for Rudy.

There will be many more by the time this is all done. trump supporters will be left by the wayside like so many foolish investors in his casinos and properties over the last forty years.

And Gym Jordan still gets to yell at and accuse others of crimes without evidence while he simply ignored his subpoena.

It's weird to realize that America is becoming a third world country.

I wonder how Jordan will take it when the subpoena recipients for his committee's "investigations" over the handling of Trump and Hunter Biden similarly ignore their summons. Somehow I doubt he will think his own subpoenas are optional.

Rudy, Rudy, Rudy! He has been a buddy of trump for a long time. While trump is an admitted pu$$y grabber. Rudy just aspires to be one evidently. "Former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson in a new book" states that Rudy, 52 years older than her, thats more than a 1/2 a century,  put his hand “under my blazer, then my skirt,”

A little groping in the WH by Rudy who trump evidently warned everyone to be on the watch for. Because Rudy was frequently drunk when he came to the WH.

Oh well. trump always did say he only hires the best.

trump was holding a fine supper meeting at the WH after his election defeat. Bill Barr and all his other top officials gathered to dine on Foie gras and the best delicacies that WH chefs could prepare. Cassidy Hutchinson trump's aid was there and Mr. Barr told trump that there was no evidence of election fraud.

The American president flew into a rage and picked up his dinner plate. Engraved of course in the presidential seal but i digress. trump threw the plate full of food at Barr fortunately missing him. Ms. Hutchinson felt so embarrassed about the situation that she cleaned the ketchup off the wall of the WH dining room herself. The other republicans at the table thought nothing about it.

Hi Robert,

From your link:  he fined five defense lawyers $7,500 each as punishment for “engaging in repetitive, frivolous” arguments

As we go along, it is probable that every Trump lawyer will be ponying up some money.  Poor fools.

From another story on this decision "The decision will not dissolve Mr. Trump’s entire company, but it sought to terminate his control over a flagship commercial property at 40 Wall Street in Lower Manhattan and a family estate in Westchester County. Mr. Trump might also lose control over his other New York properties, including Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan,"

More and more decisions about fraud being committed by trump are coming out. The penalty phase which starts next week should be ....happy!

Hi Mark,

From your link:  the majority of the American people understand the 2020 election was stolen...

Hi Jerry,

Funny how NONE of Trump's stooges was willing to state that in an environment where the truth was required. You know, like a legal filing, or testimony under oath.

Oh, this is good!

Former president Trump has his own problems this evening stemming from the civil case against him, his older sons, and other officers and parts of the Trump Organization in New York, where Attorney General Letitia James has charged him with committing fraud by inflating the value of his assets. Today New York judge Arthur Engoron ruled that Trump and his company deceived banks and insurers by massively overvaluing his real estate holdings in order to obtain loans and better terms for deals. The Palm Beach County assessor valued Mar-a-Lago, for example, at $18 million, while Trump valued it at between $426 million and $612 million, an overvaluation of 2,300% (not a typo).

LOL!!!

Sept. 27, 2023, 7:07 p.m. ET

The judge overseeing former President Donald J. Trump’s trial on charges of seeking to overturn the 2020 election denied on Wednesday his attempt to disqualify her from the case for supposedly being biased against him.

In a strongly worded order, the judge, Tanya S. Chutkan of Federal District Court in Washington, rejected claims by Mr. Trump’s lawyers that she had shown bias against the former president in statements she made from the bench in two cases related to the attack on the Capitol by a pro-Trump mob on Jan. 6, 2021.

In the order, Judge Chutkan not only chided Mr. Trump’s lawyers for putting words in her mouth, but she also asserted that the remarks did not betray any animus or unfairness toward Mr. Trump that would warrant the extraordinary step of removing her from the election interference case.

“The statements certainly do not manifest a deep-seated prejudice that would make fair judgment impossible,” she wrote.

Valuation of property  for tax purposes in Cook County, IL is by ordinance 10% of the market value.  Maybe Florida is the same.

My experience is only with owning property in Oregon over the last 35 years. Commercial, Farmland, Airport, Subdivisions, Partitions etc. I have experienced a real disconnect between tax appraisals and actual market value. (not RMV by tax appraisers) But it has never been by orders of magnitude. The edge in real estate is seeing real, and real time, value that others have missed. Maybe there is another 10-30% laying there. Those are big wins. But only time gives quadruples or better in my experience.
