So someone who wants to carry the most common firearms in the US is highly trained with them and wants nothing other that to protect myself and and anyone around me in case of a violent attack Is a gun nut? Also everything i  carry is concealed and no one even knows i’m carrying them.  You sound like you have never been in a violent confrontation, and are scared of guns and that’s completely cool i don’t want you to carry one.

You never said anything about the most common weapons, you said you don’t know anyone who wants to carry a stinger, but all you want is to be able to carry whatever weapon you want…

No i don’t want a stinger missile or an F-18 or ICBM. I don’t know any people that are calling for that when gun control discussions come up. I simply want to be able to carry what i want. My everyday carry is a G19 with an extra mag, an Sig 365 pocket carry and a AR -15 in my vehicle with multiple magazines. I keep a medical trauma kit on me all the time also. I have used the medical kit many times for  crashes i have driven up on.  I don’t think that is anything crazy to carry. You seem to think there are no limits on how Americans can posses and carry guns there are many restrictions already.

Thank you for gracing me with a response. I hate you had to go slumming with a “ on jump wonder” which obviously from your response is beneath you. I search for information on other threads rarely comment because i know nothing about this sport but am obsessed with it. Unfortunately due   to medical emergency’s ( quadruple bypass) I am limited to one jump but have been cleared by my surgeon to jump again. 

   So where in the real world are you from? Please explain how you would handle an armed person at night on a traffic stop when you are by yourself? You seem to think my response and the rest of the real world view it is sick. How would you calm a nervous person with a gun? How about a borderline violent person with a gun how do you calm them down?   

The absolute wrong person to have been a cop? You are adorable.  The arrogance of that statement cannot be understated. You would be hiding behind me in a violent confrontation.  I have no idea what the Speakers Corner hospice is. Is it people like you? Arrogant, ignorant and still confident in your ignorance. Do i think this is acceptable? No murder is not acceptable. I think arresting, prosecuting and keeping incarcerated people who commit violent crimes is a good start.

The point is that this is neither gunzone.com or copzone.com. I think it fantastic that folks with a starting jump want to get more involved in skydiving but that is not what you are doing and is also why there is a bonfire thread. Seems to me that you just dropped in from nowhere in the sites final minutes to give us like 35 last minute posts about how we need stingers and fighter jets to protect ourselves from a tyrannical phantom government. Of course that is shop worn bullshit. And, be it my opinion, I absolutely think gun nut cops are a bad choice.

We already do that.  We have a greater % of our population incarcerated than any other nation.  Clearly that does not work.

Your contempt was very clear for new people in this sport. One jump wonders was the term i believe. 
  This is a discussion about the 2nd amendment which is guns and you seem to have a problem with my opinion because it is different from yours, i'm new to the site, and new people to this sport are beneath you.

Im so shocked even though you insulted my response to dealing with armed drivers you have no suggesting on how to handle that type of stop. Is that a lefty prerequisite? To criticize something you know nothing about then hide and don’t answer a question when confronted?
