Eyeroll -  if guns, themselves, kill people, then pencils make their own mistakes.

Well, you have fun with that conversation that has nothing at all to do with anything that anyone else has said.

Yet spoons are relevant?

About as relevant as any other way you've tried to defend your original point. Honestly what were you thinking when you chose that as an example of gun use that no-one could possibly argue wasn't an amazing justification for having more guns?

A spoon can in fact be a weapon.

I've heard this little parry for years. It's kind of a silly comeback, brothers. Everything is static until it becomes dynamic by human hand.

You obviously don’t understand the reality of violence.

You obviously don't understand I'm not saying a spoon isn't a weapon.

I am saying they're not a deterrent against armed robbery though. If you wanna argue against that, by all means give it your best shot.... I mean vicious spooning.

A Glock 43X in everybody’s pocket would though.

except reality says that's not true. The USA accounts for 46% of all firearms privately owned. There are roughly 1.2 firearms per American.

From the last available data I can find (2017) the US was 20th globally for Robbery Rate, higher than Canada.

If you look at the list it is near impossible to see any correlation between firearm ownership and robbery rate.

The data show conclusively that both between nations, and between states in the USA, that homicide rates track gun availability very well.

Having  gun in the house makes it more likely that you or a family member will be killed.

Unless you are special.

Have you ever met a gun owner who didn't think of themselves as "special"?

They're generally as good with their guns as young canopy pilots are with their canopies. As in the more they actually practice, the better they are, and the more they can just show how good they are, rather than having to talk about it.

However, the fatalities with canopies are (almost) always only the pilot. Doesn't necessarily work that way with guns.

Having guns is not a bad thing.

The lack of education is.

Tell me something - why is gun viloence so much more prevalent in democrat run cities?
