Those people want to be free of the Zelenski regime .... You forget that during Trumps impeachment the Democrats all agreed that Ukraine was the most corrupt nation in Europe.

Yes, largely because of Russia's campaign of bribery, infiltration and espionage that has been ongoing ever since Ukraine became an independent nation. This was largely why Ukraine was unable to put up any real resistance to the annexation of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk in 2014.

The anti-corruption progress that has been made since then by successive governments including Zelensky's is proven by the fact that they are now able to fight an effective campaign against the full scale Russian invasion.

Put up the cash and I'll deliver the 50 names and that will be that ... My son needs a new bike....

Look, you're the one who claimed there were 600 political prisoners without trial.

Since you can't even come up with ONE name, we'll just assume that your claim was bullshit. Tell your son to walk, have a nice day!

Are you saying that they are no longer corrupt?

Give me $50 and I'll tell you. Oh no wait, that would be a stupid and childish game.

Of course there is still corruption in Ukraine. A ) There's some corruption everywhere. B ) There's still an active malign influence (Moscow) trying to create corruption in Ukraine while they're trying to root it out.

So twenty bucks a name and he can't provide a single one of the six hundred, I think that means he owes you twelve thousand dollars.

And also not in prison.

It's actually against the US Constitution to imprison someone without trial, so these "600 political prisoners" without trial don't exist. The only exceptions are, to my knowledge, the prisoners in Guantanamo Bay, but they're more prisoners of war rather than political. And they're kept in Guantanamo Bay specifically because of the US Constitution - and the US government has been trying to close it for years.

Finally, the number of those prisoners in Gitmo, is 38.

Quite far from 600, and Slim can't even name a single name.

Thousands of people in the US are in city and county jails awaiting trial, because they couldn't post bail. Bail and fines is a money-making venture for entirely too many cities and counties, and if they sit in jail, then they have to pay jail fees when they get out.

Just another way to keep poor people poor, because we don't dare tax the rich. They went to court for an arraignment, but haven't been to trial yet.

Yes and it's an injustice.

I should have probably clarified, it's against the US Constitution to imprison someone without charge OR trial.

Those people may be unable to post bail, but they will have charges against them, and they need to be tried within a certain period. The 38 prisoners at Gitmo haven't been charged with any crimes and no trials are scheduled.

And for being unable to pay simple fines - because they lost their jobs after being held in jail for offences that weren't punishable by prison time in the first place. So now they're essentially in debtors prison in perpetuity.

Another thing that demonstrates the intellectual and moral bankruptcy of the populist right when they oppose cashless bail because it will 'let criminals walk free'. The entire point of the cash bail system is that it lets suspected criminals walk free. Cashless bail is closer to making those decisions on the merits of the case and not on ability to pay. But that's a whole other topic.

Undoubtedly :poop: Slim:poop: has swallowed the whole pile of RTV Putin droppings. The latest news from Ukraine shows that Wagner forces have been withdrawn from the attempt to encircle Bakhmut. The Wagner forces have either been wounded, captured or killed. It appears as if they are a completely spent force.

The Russian military has now taken over the role of recruiting troops from Russian prisons. In the Bakhmut area Wagner forces have been replaced by Russian paratroopers, special forces and regular Russian units. They have control of about 4/5th of the city. Fewer and fewer Russian armored units and vehicles are being seen on the entire front.

But a new Russian effort is underway to recruit ordinary Russians. A new law allows e-mail call-ups. So unsuspecting Russians hiding in Turkey could open a e-mail and have received their call-up.The e-mails seem to be targeting liberal groups en-mass. Perhaps :poop:Slim:poop: will get his as a reward for his loyalty.

.... Putin is making money selling diesel to third party vendors who sell to Ukraine....

That is because Russia is forced to sell oil at deep discounts after NATO, European Economic Community, etc. refused to buy Russian oil.

India and China may still be buying oil from Russia, but they can demand deep discounts on otherwise un-sellable oil. Neither China nor India are honestly reporting the prices they are paying for Russian oil.

The laughs on you partner... Anyone who looks at a map over the last year can see Ukraine is being DESTROYED by Wagner and Russia is just now loosing their troops on the poor Ukrainian kids.

It almost sounds like you're laughing at the deaths of Ukrainian kids you pretend to be so concerned about...

Over the past year Russia has made a significant net loss in Ukrainian territory and municipalities it controls.

Putin should retreat in order to negotiate peace, shouldn’t he?

Bud I was mocking you for being a bot, or being so susceptible to propaganda that you are indistinguishable from one.

Humor/sarcasm is not a part of current FSB bot programing. Its rollout has been delayed by the sanctions on the Nvidia's DGX A100 AI chip by the commerce department. So once the Russian hack of ChatGPT comes out. Once third party supplies of said chip is overcome by smuggling.  :poop: Slim:poop: will sound much more unique and coherent.

This morning's CBC news radio said that about 200,000 Russian soldiers have died in Ukraine over the last 14 months. Meanwhile about half as many Ukrainians have died.

Why?

What is this war accomplishing????????????

The Russians completed de-nazification when they bombed the Azov Battalion flat during the siege of Mariopul.

It gets Putin more land and power.  Keep in mind that Russia has ~150 million people; it will be a long time before he runs out of cannon fodder.

Indeed, the Wagner Group is currently working on re-Nazification within Russia - and those soldiers are being deployed into Ukraine.

Russia has lured the Ukrainians into Bakhmut to Grind them up. How do you say the Ukrainians are winning ?.. That's total Delusional Thinking. Ukraine used to control 100% or Mariupol and Bakhmut... Now they are GONE!!!! How are they winning? NEGOTIATE PEACE NOW!!!! Thousands of innocent kids have died since I began pleading for sanity on this thread. SAD.

They are winning only on social media, but even there less and less.
