dbram12388 0 #1 March 22, 2015 You guys got any recommendations on a DZ to go to in late June early July? Gotta crank out some jumps on my new wingsuit. Got about 7 to 10 days. Need to be able to crank jumps out on weekdays. Someplace that isn't too hot preferably.... Cheers

Mile-high has a good wingsuit crew. So does Jumptown. That time of year, most any DZ not too far south will be great.
FlyingRhenquest 1 #3 March 22, 2015 Yeah. Mile Hi never flies Tuesday or Wednesday, if week long jumping is a consideration.I'm trying to teach myself how to set things on fire with my mind. Hey... is it hot in here?

topdocker 0 #6 March 24, 2015 Yes and yes. Weather at that time of year can be variable, but if its jumpable, they turn loads. topJump more, post less!
kallend 2,027 #7 March 25, 2015 The Chicago area has two excellent DZs within a 30 minute drive of each other.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

Skydive Chicago (Ottawa) and Chicagoland Skydiving Center (Rochelle) are off to the southwest. There's also Skydive Midwest up across the Wisconsin border (about 15 miles into WI). They run some weekdays, but not 7 days a week, IIRC. Beware the cops on I94. I've been to SDC & Midwest. Both are great places. I've never been to CSC but I've heard very good things about it."There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." DiverMike 5 #9 March 25, 2015 Start Skydiving in Middletown OH runs 10-20 loads a day weekdays (If there are enough tandems they run both Caravans). Also, that time of year you might want to look for a 4th of July event. Many dropzones will be doing something special if you have an interest in a balloon or helicopter jump (may not apply to you if you are a low wingsuit number jumper). For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
