nick2903 0 #1 July 11, 2014 Hi guys, I'm a student film maker and we were asked to create a short documentary type piece on a topic of our choice. I chose skydiving because it had a big impact on my life when I jumped tandem for the first time a few years back. So I decided to use this doco as a way to introduce first timers to skydiving as well as follow someone's journey as they have their first skydiving experience. I thought I'd share it and see what people think. It's my second film and first documentary piece. It was filmed at SA Skydiving in Wellington, South Australia. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xa9C_ffbyRI
ZippyZ 0 #2 July 11, 2014 Nice. Couple questions: - Why did that lurker deploy right beside the tandem while it was still in freefall? - Why is that chest strap up at the passenger's neck?

nick2903 0 #4 July 16, 2014 I'm not too sure if the previous comment was deleted but the skydiver who pulled his chute in the background was another camera operator we didn't end up using footage for. I'm not too sure about the strap though
Willi91 0 #5 July 24, 2014 You did a good job making the film. Nicely done. To someone who doesn't skydive, this is a nice little documentary.

nick2903 0 #11 September 23, 2014 Thanks for the feedback guys. It was a fun process filming it and getting to hang out at the dropzone for the day. Hopefully it has inspired a few people to give it a try.
