Phil1111 1,149 #2 October 19, 2022 It was interesting. You obviously have to take with a grain of salt any media documentary. But the first minute of the program confirmed what I had previously thought about Flynn. Describing his reputation as a "traitor, criminal, christian nationalist". Just using his own words is enough to understand what he is all about. Proud Boys, Alex Jones and Flynn all wrapped up in the flag while hugging the cross of Jesus. Is all you need to know about him and his politics. In another thread a post about seeking compromise, a middle ground, etc. With republicans received many likes.Even applause. This program lays out the current agenda of the republican party in America. What? Blasphemy! Shouts those who live in the past. Flynn, the christian right describe the situation as "war". The two dozen companies, "charitable' enterprises Flynn is involved with all have a common purpose. Defeat "liberal communists" i.e. democrats. They will and are, nominating election deniers. Placing hacks in positions of controlling election results. Bowing to the Marjorie Taylor Greene and trump endorsed concepts that they hold. As one might imagine, Yale University’s recent conference on White Christian nationalism and the midterm elections was full of sobering information. And yet, two conclusions managed to stand apart from the rest. First, that the phenomenon is firmly anchored within the Republican and conservative mainstream; and second, that its most fanatical proponents keep moving further and further to the Right.
