It’s what one would expect from a loony lefty Green Party member.

(funny how none of the security cameras and the police officers body cams seemed to be working)

Dude, it's like you're not even trying anymore.

I know.  Where's the Obama blame?  Where's the mention of Hunter's laptop?  Where's the climate change denial and the anti-Fauci memes and the "go woke go broke" thing?  It's like he's just going through the motions.

He is so giddy with big oils latest quarter. All the latest Truth social forecasts of a total defeat of democrats in midterms. That he can hardly contain himself. So dreams of another 182 to add to his fleet and another Mercedes. Is all too much for his mind to focus on trolling.

Are you saying that the attacker was not a member of the Green Party?

He was, and the worst thing he did back then was get naked in the street.

Then he got sucked into the world of right wing conspiracy theories spread by mainstream Republican politicians and look what happened.

Thanks for highlighting where the danger lies.

Sorry guys, as of late there has been so much that has been breaking in my favor it is hard to keep up.  My predictions of American Rescue Plan causing inflation, to the war on fossil fuels leading to high gas prices and diesel shortages, recovering Arctic sea ice, slow hurricane season, record coal use, the failure of renewables to replace fossil fuels and the result of the election next week just to name a few.  I will try to do better but quite frankly, it is exhausting.

I thought that something like recovering Arctic sea ice would be all in our favour, not just you. Right?

His only goal is to "own the libs" so anything that he thinks supports his agenda is both good for him and bad for his enemies (i.e. most of America.)

Agreed, however, there are some folks on this forum who gleefully posted about disappearing Arctic sea ice when it was low in 2012 then called me a Troll when I shared that trend has reversed today.  The same thing happened when I showed that elevated levels of CO2 have not lead to the disastrous consequences predicted by the alarmists.  One would think we would all be happy, but alas no.

Ooh, y'know that 'causing' is a tricky word. Is it causing inflation everywhere else too?

to the war on fossil fuels leading to high gas prices and diesel shortages,

Now I'm quite sure you've lost track of this one (for obvious reasons), but please remind me if high prices were supposed to mean oil companies making more money or less money?

On the one hand I am dismayed by people who appear to think that the planet can support 10 billion people eating organic granola with all energy needs powered by unicorn farts.  A quick run of the numbers doesn't quite support that paradigm.

The fact that 'renewables' are anything but a panacea that requires nothing more than the the decision to use them has been noted by a professional Thermodynamicist of my acquaintance.  I'd love it if all of our food and energy requirements could be met in full and forever without having to dip into our backlog of fossil fuels, but the nasty reality is that they can't.

The bad news is that:

A) Fossil fuels are a finite resource and their use will be curtailed by us running out.  The only question is quite when, and that doesn't change much.

B) There really is no Plan B for their use in the interim, as you have noted.

C) Given that our population is increasing inexorably, and is guaranteed to outstrip any supply of food and energy at some point in the unfortunately near future, we're fucked any way you cut it.

It was fun while it lasted.

Back to everyone bickering about the crappy details,

Winsor

The glee came from the attempt to prove me wrong on man made global warming.

What about proving you wrong on the Pelosi dude being a lefty?

What about proving you wrong on oil companies making more money from lower prices?

Not one ounce of shame. No hint of decency. What they are doing is going to encourage more people to do more acts of violence to those they disagree with politically. They are actively dehumanizing the opposition in order to promote hatred.

Do you mean how oil companies recorded record profits in Q3 despite lower gas prices as compared to Q2?

Twice as much as last year when it was... remind me again?

Are you seriously gonna keep sitting there, staring reality in the face and telling it that it's wrong?

By the way, here's a graph of oil companies' profits, see if you can spot what happens in Q3 this year as gas prices start to go down.

And here's what BP have to say

BP has revealed that underlying profits more than doubled [year on year] over the past quarter. The London-listed oil giant reported that underlying replacement cost profits - a measure preferred by BP - surged to 8.2 billion US dollars (£7.1 billion), compared with 3.3 billion dollars (£2.9 billion) a year earlier.

It was significantly ahead of the 6.1 billion dollars (£5.3 billion) expected by market analysts. Nevertheless, BP said profits were weaker than the previous quarter after a dip in average oil price.

I think you're going to have to march into the boardroom and explain why Brentonomics says they're wrong.
