brenthutch 444 #1 Posted November 4, 2022 (edited) If election denying candidates are a threat to Democracy, why did the Democrats give them $53,000,000 to support their campaigns? “Democrats are estimated to have spent more than $53 million across nine states boosting far-right candidates in GOP primary elections…The money has gone toward a Democratic strategy that elevates far-right candidates who have questioned or denied the results of the 2020 election” The phrase “hoist by one’s own petard” comes to mind.
