Skydiving/Tunnel in Quebec?

Recommended Posts

So I am heading to Quebec on business next week and just found out I will have Wednesday evening and Thursday (all day) to do what I want. So.... the rig is now coming with me. I used the google but I was curious what recommendations y'all have if any? I could not find a tunnel there but I know there is one in Montreal. Am I wrong?

Let me know about DZ's.

Cheers! B|

Remster

Only tunnel in the _general_ area is in Montreal (well, Laval to be exact).

I haven't been to the Quebec city DZs in ages, but Atmosphair was the go-to one back then. http://www.atmosphair.com/

Thanks!

The first wind tunnel in Quebec opened back around 1980. Sadly, it is long-closed now.

The second wind tunnel in Quebec is in Laval, a northern suburb of Montreal.

There are about a dozen commercial DZs between Montreal and Quebec City.
The last time I taught in Quebec was at Nouvelaire in Farnham, maybe an hour east of Montreal.

Quebec City is on the north shore of the St. Lawrence river. the 2 closest DZs are on the south shore. Approx. 30-45 minutes drive to get to any of them.

atmosphair.com has a Caravan

paraqc.com has a Pilatus

I won't try to recommend one over the other. They're both cool.

The Laval tunnel takes approx. 2.5-3 hours to get to from Quebec City.
My imaginary friend just called you Crazy ... What are you gonna do about it?

Thanks everyone. At the airport now heading to French Canadian land. I have my rig so I will make a decision when I get there but I have not jumped a porter in a long time. I jump caravans on the reg. so I am leaning twds the porter.

Cheers
