Trump's legal team gets the discovery material -> this gets leaked a couple days later. WHY would they leak it??? Hi Robert, There is your answer. Trump's legal teams have not had a good track record.. Jerry Baumchen PS) And, include Bill's post also.

Jerry Baumchen PS) And, include Bill's post also. Only recently has his legal team struck out. For three quarters of a century he has set up scam after scam. Sealing from students, employees, investors, etc. and never gone to jail. His recent sexual assault conviction is the first loss of substance. His political losses in his mind are the failings of others of the GOP party. Look at his recent presidential history. Jared walked away with $2 billion in Saudi money and trump scamraisers never end. It looks as if he will get the GOP nomination. When no banks will lend to him he fundraisers from Fred and Wilma, FOX viewers in trump country. Sometimes the best defense is to let the bad news out in advance in dribs and drabs. To acknowledge it so when dealing with it later its no surprise. Lying about its substance comes naturally to trump and his lawyers.
jakee 1,556 #129 June 28, 2023 My first thought was ‘who on the team hasn’t been paid this month?’ But actually it might be a deliberate tactic. The tape’s going to come out during trial anyway, so is it better for Trump if the most explosive and embarrassing stuff comes out now, with as much time as possible left before the election for it to lose its shock value? kallend 2,099 #131 June 28, 2023 If any other ex-employee of the US Federal Government had kept and concealed classified documents he or she would not be released pending trial. Truly we are not all equal under the law.

It’s ironic that their strategy around Hillary’s emails was the opposite - get in early, keep talking about it for as long as possible and let the sheer weight of innuendo and suspicion distort the entire national conversation. But the Dems just aren’t anywhere near as good at working the outrage machine.

You need to get comfortable in your skin. If you can't afford several judges or a flock of sycophants or a gaggle of attorneys or, for that matter, a shaft of proctologists that isn't societies problem: it's your problem.
