******Where are they?
Lodi?

Don't know about CA but Skydive Danielson in CT has $14 hop n pops on Wednesday.

Best price in New England. :)

Pony up another dollar and it'll get you 13k in Lodi. HnP 5 Bucks

That's so cheap it makes a person wonder how Lodi pays all those FAA fines for failing to perform mandated work on the planes. :o

Some of the DZ's in the midwest are having a race to the cheapest tickets this summer. I have seen prices at $18 from one DZ and $17.50 at a different one for full altitude with no bulk purchase.
Yesterday is history
And tomorrow is a mystery

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Chuck wins the "How fast will someone bring THAT up?" Award. A cent hasn't been paid yet, and the FAA has backtracked quite a bit on its allegations (and amounts of the fines). Apparently, Bill has opted to pay his attorney rather than take a "pennies on the dollar" settlement from the FAA.

But the FAA doesn't send out press releases for that...

Nothing but historical accuracy here. The feds are trying to ding, ding, ding Mr. Dause for failing to perform required work on a plane and he is - according to you, anyway - fighting them.

He is demonstrating the premise that he is innocent until proven guilty. And if the FAA had collected a huge fine in this case already, they would certainly have updated their press release. On a three year old case. With all the planes flying. And the FAA still sniffing around.

I'm still working off a bunch of tickets I got for $18 at Skydance. I know a lot of places run specials during the season, or turn a week day into '$15 fun jump Fridays' and stuff. So, always worth keeping an ear open for those kinds of things.

Just remember.... some things in life, you get what you pay for!
Apologies for the spelling (and grammar).... I got a B.S, not a B.A. :)

Pretty typical and not indicative of no infraction. As long as the plane received the mandated work the feds will let it fly, but that won't stop them from pursuing enforcement action.

You can bet they'll keep sniffing, too. For a reason, IMO. They aren't known for targeting operations that play by the rules. There are way too many real targets out there and apparently they've found one.

It would be nice if the FAA played by the rules also, that has been a big part of their "settling."
