In the past they reported higher levels of CO2 will hurt barley, grape and arabica production, threatening our beer, wine and coffee but the same thing will result in the unchecked spread of poison ivy. I smell an agenda. It's that river in Egypt again. Similarly, when the "children killed by gun violence" statistics are bandied about, the fact that the lion's share are teenage gang bangers working out business disputes is somehow overlooked. It turns out that, absent these numbers, juvenile fatalities due to firearms are well less than drownings, traffic accidents and the like. Go figure. You know, when you remove cars from traffic incidents, they really aren't that bad. Nobody ever talks about that! Let's just all be glad that the regulations prohibiting the open carry of swimming pools in the vicinity of schools has prevented mass drownings of school kids in their classrooms.
