gixzig 0 #1 August 29, 2010 Like the title says I'm looking for some feedback on Chutingstar. I mean I don’t recall any bad posts or stories about them, but I'm not on here all the time. Also anyone know if they are offering any discounts lately? I'm ordering a vigil and some other misc stuff. And saving some money always helps. A dollar saved is a dollar closer to another jump! DSE 5 #2 August 29, 2010 I've done quite a bit of business with them, and they seem to bust ass to keep customer service at the fore. Call em' up to ask about any discounts or good deals. They've always answered the phone when I've called.

peregrinerose 0 #4 August 29, 2010 I've only dealt with them once and it was very nice. They had a canopy waiting for me to demo at The Farm when I visited this summer. Since I jumped it there and I didn't park it in the trees or anything, they didn't charge me for the demo. I fell in love with the canopy, so when my old one sold a week later, they had the demo that I fell in love with shipped to me within 3 days of ordering/buying it from them. Hvance 0 #5 August 29, 2010 Mike G. and J have both been very helpful both in person and over email with my many questions about gear/requests for advice. Last week, I received an email from Mike past midnight. I've been very pleased with Chutingstar.I wish Google Maps had an "Avoid Ghetto" routing option. wildcard451 0 #6 August 29, 2010 You'd be hard pressed to find a better gear store, rigging loft out there.
Dittodogg 0 #7 August 29, 2010 Mike is probably one of the most respected riggers on the US. I have had several repacks done there by him or his staff. I had a cutaway and they were awesome about getting me a new freebag ordered. About 3 weeks later mike emailed me saying they found my old one and saved it for me for the next time I was up that way. Miki just repacked my reserve after a trip overseas and shipped it to me next day so I could jump. I was not expecting that one. Mike has also installed swoop cords for me and made repairs to my slider with nothing but quality work slingin the sewing machine around! I have bought tons of equipment there and J is currently working though a canopy manufacturer issue with me and has been nothing but helpful. He will go the extra mile for you when ordering a custom item! He has worked with me several times on getting me the best prices/ discounts as well. I know it has been said a million times before on here, but they are probably the best place to get info buy gear or just bullshit with! I only buy through them and use them for rigging needs. P.S. PiLFy 3 #10 August 29, 2010 Hi, FWIW, All I've bought from them so far, is a helmet. The order process was just as it should be. I had a question about the helmet. Mike(?) responded immediately. I've no qualms about doing much more business w/them in the future.

dcfreefly 0 #15 August 30, 2010 Quite possibly the best gear store I've purchased from. Mike is awesome and knows his shit. Very helpful and top notch customer service. Flyfast 0 #18 August 30, 2010 Another huge plus with ChutingStar is no $ limit on internet orders. I wanted to order a logbook and some closing loops, an order that Para Gear and Square 1 will not process. ($25.00 min order on both sites). Mike/ChutingStar has no issues with an order like this, and becuase of it he's gotten all my recent orders, small and large.ZC OG

Didn't you notice that new door they're building into the hanger. Some say it's to split the loft/retail space, but it's really the head thing.
