TheUnbalancedCouple 1 #1 Posted November 16, 2023 Hello everyone. My wife and I have just started our pre-skydiving journey. We’ve got to hit the gym before we can book our AFF, so we’ve started to clock up some tunnel time. I was 320lb a few years ago, I’m currently sat at 230lb and dropping, Slowly. About six months ago I realised that I might be able to hit the weight limit for skydiving, for the first time in my adult life. It’s been a great motivator. My wife is an office worker in her early fifties and got the bug a few weeks ago on our first visit to iFly. She’s gone from ‘No way could I jump out of a plane’ to ‘I’m not doing a tandem. If I do it, I want to try AFF level 1’. She’s all in on bodyflight, but still a bit unsure if she’s got what it takes to take up skydiving. We’ve started a YouTube channel because we’re narcissists who are trying to leverage our videos for free stuff and invites to cool events. However, we also want to make something that’s informative, factually accurate, entertaining and community focused. Any advice that you have would be very gratefully received. Here’s our first video :https://youtu.be/Ey9x48oI5LQ?si=UEtk8oJ0_BYkBFuF. We’ve been twice since then, so I’ve got a bit of an editing backlog. It took a while to learn the editing software.
