Sure, Biden doesn't give swell, inspirational speeches like Obama did. But what problem do you have with his administrations actions?

It would be hard for me to vote for Biden if I had a vote. I would do it anyway for the same reasons as you. Weak voiced, feeble, tottering is not a good look. And you have to know that he is carefully curated by his staff which leaves me wondering what his bad moments look like. I fear that lot of people are going to walk away from voting or go for a third party candidate. A lot of people are going to seriously consider a vote for Biden to be a vote for Harris. Not that I think there is anything wrong with Harris, but I suspect that many Americans do.

When he gaffes or falls over he's usually up on stage, live, on his own - how are his staff curating any of that?

It may be unfair, but whenever I see him speak I have serious doubts that he is still vigorous enough for such a demanding position.

But I can't imagine inflicting that sort of thing on myself. I know everyone ages differently, and that relatively rich white men with good healthcare and active lifestyles do better than most. But the man is 81 years old. Voters have good reason to be sceptical. When the best thing you can say about him is that he is better than a dotard you have to question how excited the electorate is going to be next year. The D party is putting its eggs in a very fragile basket.

He proves daily that not only IS he still vigorous enough for such a demanding position, he then goes beyond that. He rides bikes, he runs, he exercises, he drives hotrods and hauls ass doing it. He's standing up to every evil autocrat on the planet, insulting and challenging them. He's strong enough to corral the majority of the planet to tighten NATO memberships and cooperation. He does what's RIGHT. He's stand proud doing it. WTAF would it take to show his is more than capable to those that hate him for no other reason than his age???? The tottering old man concern should be for the other idiots in the republican party. Have you seen THEIR conditions??? The continual grooming to hate members of opposing parties is disgusting. America used to be better than the idiocy we have in half of the government these days. The Republicans are a dying party. They're killing themselves. Yet some people worry about a POTUS that's doing a very impressive job given the current situation the entire planet is in....while trying to support a criminal who wears diapers?????? I swear I've gone through a time machine or some sort of portal. WTF happened to Americans????

Social and demographic changes coupled with the new ability to communicate especially through social media. It may as well be a time machine, it has become that profound. I am starting to think that the Chinese approach is likely to catch on and take over western societies. Edited November 28, 2023 by gowlerk

True but money has proven to be an unsuccessful motivator for republican voters in the face of tribalistic loyalties. The exception of course for republican house and senate members. Where the golden rule always holds sway.
