base651 0 #1 Posted December 9, 2023 Jamie passed away last week. He may be known to some older jumpers as he worked at Perris in the 90s and was active in the Cali base scene around the same time. Jamie beat non Hodgkin’s lymphoma in the early 90s but the radiotherapy resulted in lung cancer-mesothelioma which he battled for the last 2 years. Jamie was a quietly spoken guy with a phenomenal skill at building and restoring things including a complete restoration of a 50s Mercedes which he sold to Jyro. If you pass through Auckland and look at the skyline you can know that he claimed a number of those buildings when base was completely unknown in the city.
