They've more than flirted with authoritarianism by cosying up to proto-dictators like Viktor Orban for a few years, but now they're so comfortable with it they can say stuff like this out loud and not even flinch. "Welcome to the end of democracy. We are here to overthrow it completely. We didn’t get all the way there on January 6, but we will endeavor to get rid of it and replace it with this, right here."

How on earth is this shower of radicals and idiots gaining so much of the mainstream space in right wing politics? How can anyone take them seriously? They invited Liz Truss - a politician so inept that she managed to break the British economy in a premiership that lasted less than two months - to give a speech and applauded her just because she blamed it all on woke.

Where is the marketplace of ideas that Ron used to bang on about?

One of them definitely talks more sense than the other.

She actually made a joke about the craziness of taking economics advice from Joe Biden. At a conference she was invited to speak at. After what she did 18 months ago. I’ll give you two guesses whose economy has done better since then, and you won’t need the second one.
