It was hardest for me to learn to...

Recommended Posts

To stop trying to convince my friends and family to go with me. I have not found one person who would go. Then I realized I was getting on people's nerves trying to convince them. Now I am just building relationships at the DZ so I can talk skydiving with people who enjoy it as much as I do! No convincing required.

I've had one co-worker go with me so far and I think another one is thinking about it. Several have said they'd do the wind tunnel if the company would do a team building event there. I might be able to talk the local wind tunnel into a discount if I call them and tell them I'm bringing 20 people in on a week day, but so far no manager wants to commit $17 a minute for 20 people to go down there. Which is not an unreasonable position for any manger to take, really.
I'm trying to teach myself how to set things on fire with my mind. Hey... is it hot in here?

That makes me feel a lot better about the tunnel not that far from me... They do a package deal five 3 minute sessions for $110. ;)

Shit, I'd be all over that. Anything under $13 a minute is my sweet spot. At $13 a minute I'd definitely be a tunnel rat!

Yep, I did this too. Guy who did a tandem with me found over 30 excuses to not go. People at work would say they were going and then cancel last minute. I just realize I can't get people to go, I figure they will seek me out...
