And we have a poor understanding of what is driving our future. Nature can not be contained by rules and boundaries. Humans are a part of nature and just like the zebra mussels infesting the Great Lakes and the Asian Carps in the rivers they will find a way to new places and change the environment to the chagrin of all who can not accept change.
