EV Jobs Anyone?

Recommended Posts

Hi folks,

the project would add 150 “high-wage” jobs.

Daimler picks Portland for $40 million electric truck engineering site, new training facility - oregonlive.com

Should be more than one good engineering jobs with this announcement.

Back in the mid-60's [ while in college ], I worked part-time for the previous owners, in the test lab.  Really liked that job.

Maybe the market for big ass freight trucks is less determined. So where you been? At the Biden/Harris show in Philly?

Then copy/paste the whole article; not just the part that supports your position. Change browsers.

If you can copy and paste anything you can copy and paste a link. You copy it. You paste it. What’s not to work?

There are several known issues that can result in not being able to copy/paste links. Gotta work through them starting with trying a different browser, updates, clearing cache's, clearing HD space, etc.

The way that this site works, text that is in a url format will display as a clickable link no matter how it got there. If he can copy and paste anything, he can copy and paste the text of a link.

They didn't teach that on FOX or Trump U.

Not true. Those issues don't allow one to copy the link to begin with. He would have to type out the text. The issue here is he's not willing to work thru the steps to resolution.

That would make it easier for other posters to realize that he's not being truthful about what the article says, so he's more effective at trolling if he "can't" do it.

To paraphrase Upton Sinclair, it is difficult to get a man to understand something when his self-identity depends upon his not understanding it.

And that is why you can’t wrap your brain around the fact that EV adaptation isn’t going the way you had hoped.

Actually no.

You piqued my curiosity, so I did a bit of searching.

Limbaugh died Feb 2021.

Rushmc last posted Sept 2020, with the last significant string of posts May 2020.

That's about the time that the Delta variant of Covid was running rampant.
Kinda wonder if that's what happened.
He was the type who would pretend "Covid's not dangerous."

I guess my timeline got a bit blurry, thanks for doing the digging to clarify.

In the beginning; we all pretended that COVID wasn't dangerous - until it was.

Oh, I dunno, I started wearing an N-95 in public when the first cases were reported in the US.

I downloaded every technical article I could find, including those from NIH, CDC and WHO sources.  Some were more valid than others, but the picture that emerged undercut the orthodoxy at the time.

As 'Essential Personnel' in the manufacturer of one of the few therapies granted Emergency Use Authorization, I developed a passing familiarity with what the variants of COVID-19 were and were not.

My take is, of course, heretical when measured against the Fauci narrative, but I go with the odds.

In any event, having spent a career working with very lethal materials of one description or another, I'm not given to pretending things are not dangerous.  I find the advice on the cover of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is sound - "Don't Panic."

Winsor
