Skydiving with PFO(patent foramen ovale)

Question

I am 18 years old atm. I want to get into skydiving so much. But I have a 2mm PFO. Is it possible to skydive without PFO closure?

Patent Foramen Ovale is a hole between the two upper chambers of the heart that normally closes during infancy.

This is a question for medical professionals.
Did you ask your cardiologist?

Another option is to review the list of heart anomolies that might prevent you from passing a medical exam by a Federal Aviation Aministration approved Flight Medical Examiner.  They screen for medical problems that might prevent you from passing a pilot medical. Pilots are subjected to many of the same stresses as skydivers.

I did more than 2000 jumps with a larger PFO without any problem, so I guess the answer is "yes" in my case, but your mileage may vary, and I am not a cardiologist.
