and he is still a crook, a con man and a convicted felon.

Donald Trump stole millions of dollars from his charity, money he promised veterans and children.  He got caught, pled guilty to that, paid millions in fines and had his foundation permanently shut down.

Justify your support for this person.  I can wait.  Try to do it without mentioning Joe Biden.

demonstrably false.  per my previous post alone, standing by itself as a lone argument.

Yes Trump is all of those things but the border was secure and wages were rising faster than inflation. The average American was doing better during the Trump administration than during the Biden Administration. When asked the question “are you better off today than four years ago, most Americans, according to polls, say no. That is just a cold hard fact.

We just spent about a trillion dollars of our children’s money on a bogus Green New Deal Lite. The only thing that will accomplish is raising electricity bills and lining the pockets of Democrat cronies. It will NOT lower global CO2, it will NOT lower global temperatures, it will NOT lead to a magical energy transformation.

From the Washington Post

“But now, more than two years after Congress allocated $7.5 billion to help build out those stations, only 7 EV charging stations are operational across four states.”

No but they are better than the alternative. The massive deficit spending in the American Rescue Plan and the ironically named Inflation Reduction Act are the primary reason for the highest levels of inflation in a generation.

Meanwhile in the rest of the world Biden is also wrecking their economies, inflating away their currencies, raising prices on everything, and causing food bank lines. It's all Biden, all of the time.

Many countries took advantage of the pandemic and had a money printing party.

But the fact is that you ARE in fact better off and you have zero objective data to show otherwise

your wages are up, your wealth is up, your savings are up, your retirement funds are up

i actually don’t give a fuck how you ‘feel’ because you feelings are blinded by your ideology

saying that the average American was better off is just another ‘feeling’ with nothing to back it up

Bullshit. China does not run on US dollars

India does not run on US dollars

Africa does not run on US dollars

that is half the worlds population

how fucking absolutely American arrogance you display.

He's an evil mastermind I tell you, able to control every country in the WORLD!

Oh, he's also a doddering old man who can't even tie his own shoes.

Both those things are true to conservatives  Must be confusing for them.

But that’s just, oh what’s the word, not a fact. Global food and energy prices soaring wouldn’t have been water off a duck’s back under a different administration.

The fact remains that the US hit lower peaks and recovered more quickly than most of the rest of the developed world.

Last time I checked, money here had the Queen's face on it.

They're now printing new ones with the King's face on it, but they're not dollars.

And they didn't print any dollars here during the pandemic either, but our inflation rate is higher than in the US. There's a gaping hole in your logic here...did you say you got an MBA?

Here's a 2018 news article about Trump criticising the Federal Reserve about raising interest rates.

In case it wasn't covered by your MBA - raising interest rates reduces the money supply (lowering inflation), lowering it increases the money supply (akin to "printing money", increasing inflation).

Trump wanted to keep printing money in 2018, which meant when the pandemic hit and money had to be printed to keep people getting salaries, there was already too much money in the economy, making the inflation shock that came afterwards worse.

Did you get the news?
“Crude oil is quoted in U.S. dollars (USD). Countries that import oil pay for it in the greenback. Similarly, those that export the commodity receive payment in USD. This system dates back to the early 1970s after the collapse of the Bretton Woods gold standard. This period saw the rise of the petrodollar system, which promoted the U.S. dollar's rise as the world's reserve currency. Oil producers and purchasers use this system to trade in the commodity in U.S. dollars.”

So where are we at now? Inflation was caused by Russia and OPEC deciding to print lots of new petro-dollars and that’s Biden’s fault?

You need to learn the difference between fiscal policy and monetary policy.

BTW inflation during Trump 2.1% 1.9% 2.3% and 1.4%

Biden 7.00% 6.5% 3.4%

“Petrodollars are oil export revenues denominated in U.S. dollars. Petrodollars are not a distinct currency; they are simply U.S. dollars accepted as payment by an oil exporter”

Class dismissed

Well I'll be dipped in frack water and rolled in waste pond sludge, are you saying that the root cause of inflation worldwide is an over reliance on oil because the world economy is trapped into a single currency payment system? That's a bummer. So buying less foreign oil would be an anti-inflationary policy? How can we do that and how long would it take to start making progress?

Yeah and Trump wanted to dictate both.

There's this thing that happened called COVID, and it screwed up supply chains a lot causing shortages, and with all the money in the system, inflation rates started shooting up. Remember the global chip shortage? No, of course not, you have selective memory.

Did Biden cause that?
