He’s put nothing into that company except the random late night all caps ranting he’s have been spewing on Twitter anyway and he’s still in a position to make a huge amount of money when he’s allowed to sell. If it’s still worth something at that point then I’d imagine it’ll crash to nothing almost as soon as he starts selling, but anything he clears before that happens is pure profit, baby.

There have been rare cases where creditors went after the owners (i.e. the shareholders) during bankruptcy proceedings.  The term used is "piercing the corporate veil" and can only happen if creditors can establish that the company was formed primarily to 1) make money for the owner(s) through stock price gains, not revenue, and 2) the company was effectively inseparable from the owners, such that everyone knew that the company was really the owner.

Wouldn't that be a fitting end to Trump Social.

he's still 'up' for now.  It is also equally plausible that the stock drops to 1/2 cent per share before they pull it from trading.

I am sure Trump will find a way to bail before that happens and that his shareholders will absolutely support any effort to let him do that despite them losing everything
