I had not complained.  I asked and you responded with standard NPC about government's definition of free speech.

Not government, your constitution.

Are you suggesting teh US constitution should be abandoned for the thoughts of philosophers and enlightened thinkers. Cause most with a brain seem to understand your gun experiment is working so well. Or now we are back to strictly just being concerned about the constitution?

If your point is that propaganda is bad, yes I agree. If you think you were suffering under liberal propaganda, you are crazy.

Doesn't apply anywhere government isn't involved.

Always amazes me how clueless Americans tend to be about what they think are their rights.

It always amazes me how so many Americans believe they are the free-est folks on Earth because they have the Bill of Rights, which doesn't even accord a right to privacy according to Alito et al.

Maybe they should look at the rights possessed by citizens of most European countries.

About the only outlier here is the 2nd Amendment, something that results in the early deaths of tens of thousands of Americans annually.

You’re beating a dead horse. For some reason this election result has brought out even stronger racist and misogynistic views than 2016.

A MAGA person shared this ‘joke’ on FB today “I’m not racist my girlfriend has two black eyes”

I see Your not a fan of Dark humor. Too bad,I think it's hilarious. Your funny too. Do you wake up in the morning looking around waiting to be offended..poor thing. You might not realize it yet, but your type, is what we are laughing at, Sir. Not the violence. The violence and misogyny is your In. Because, no one in their "Right" mind would approve of such behavior.Your "tell".Your reaction and the inference that MAGA approves,ie. we like our women barefoot.

I was asking if you had read or were familiar with enlightenment philosophers and their reasoning about what Freedom of Speech is and should be.  You seem very not smart for someone casting aspersions about intelligence.

> Society can and does execute its own mandates: and if it issues wrong mandates instead of right, or any mandates at all in things with which it ought not to meddle, it practises a social tyranny more formidable than many kinds of political oppression, since, though not usually upheld by such extreme penalties, it leaves fewer means of escape, penetrating much more deeply into the details of life, and enslaving the soul itself. Protection, therefore, against the tyranny of the magistrate is not enough: there needs protection also against the tyranny of the prevailing opinion and feeling; against the tendency of society to impose, by other means than civil penalties, its own ideas and practices as rules of conduct on those who dissent from them; to fetter the development, and, if possible, prevent the formation, of any individuality not in harmony with its ways, and compel all characters to fashion themselves upon the model of its own. There is a limit to the legitimate interference of collective opinion with individual independence: and to find that limit, and maintain it against encroachment, is as indispensable to a good condition of human affairs, as protection against political despotism.

Well written, Sir. In fairness quotation marks would have been a nice touch.

Of course you are.  You are prohibiting my 1A rights on your lawn, thus censoring me.  You are afraid of my ideas and cannot respond intelligently to them; thus the threats of violence (i.e. "you'd get a rude awakening.")

Sad that I have to explain this, but here we are.

It was a fifty year old Benny Hill joke but thanks for demonstrating one more that Lefties have no sense of humor.

Fifty years ago it didn’t matter if a joke was funny to women, minorities, etc. consider Polack jokes (just an example).

Now they’re not so funny. And if the site owner says that kind of thing isn’t allowed, isn’t it his site?

There was a time not long ago when the dumbest people in the world were polacks. Do you see any dumb polacks around today? What happened? "Awareness?" Do you think we all just learned "poles are just like us?" You think it was... education? Pole empowerment? Tolerance? The question is not how did we learn to get over that prejudice, but rather what purpose did it serve in the first place, why was it the preferred expression of hate of that time?

Wow you found one video of a guy taking down a sign and summarily ignore the 1200 indictments of Jan 6th rioters, and try to compare them as apples to apples.

congrats on being a cult member, weak frail arguments when your guy is a convicted felon..... and veiled threats of violence because you fear people who speak differently from you and thus have to suggest violence when they 'step into your yard'

pathetic.  Trump and his minions taught you well.

50 years ago you didn't have to respect women (other than in the “sacred womanhood to be protected and shielded like a child” way), or blacks, or Hispanics, or, yes, polacks. Awareness helps — they didn’t get smarter, neither did women or anyone else. Just recognized as actually equal (at least where you can be shamed for that kind of prejudice), rather than ignored as irrelevant to the power structure.

Maybe even considered as individuals, rather than as placeholders for “everyone else like that.”
