Sorry TriGirl but your lack of research is showing. Lt. Gen Cain is vastly more qualified than General Brown. He is in fact a highly decorated advisor to Thrive Capital, a venture capital firm founded by Joshua Kushner the younger brother of Jared Kushner. You don't get much more qualified than that!

See there you go - immediately proving Bill’s point. Time and time again we saw the most vocal Republicans on here harp on about how they really do hate Trump but are going to vote for him anyway because he’ll be better than the fascist Democrats. Literally any Red (ok orange) head will do.

This morning - the market has lost a third of the gain from yesterday. From my persepective, I would no more buy stocks because Trump said so than I would bitcoin from the Hawk Tuah girl.

I saw an old pre brexit vote debate the other day and it was staggering how unquestioningly media presenters accepted the statement that the remain campaign represented ‘the elite’. But who was selling Brexit? Alexander Boris De Pfeffel Johnson (yes really) of Eton,  Oxford and establishment journalism.  Jacob Rees-Mogg, whose nanny looked after him during his first political campaigns, of Eton, Oxford and the City of London. Jim Ratcliffe, richest man in Britain, James Dyson, most famous industrialist in Britain. 
 

Anyone who says ‘the elite’ when they mean ‘the other side’ and hopes we won’t notice has immediately disqualified themselves from serious conversation.

They are the future:  The latest poll suggests that Trump’s policies, especially his economic and tariffs stances, may not be registering with young Americans.

And:  The Republican president, of his own doing, had single-handedly pushed the global economy to the brink of chaos with new tariffs.

OK this is really funny.  Trump just put JD Vance in charge of tariffs.  I can just see the progression now:

"Tariffs are great and will save America."
"They have been going great but I am going to suspend them anyway."
"I'll put JD Vance in charge of them."
"I hope JD Vance fixes the problems with the tariffs."
"I gave JD Vance a great solution, and he's working on fixing the new problems with them."
