To summarise and paraphrase it. The US currency must be the global currency of choice and any threat to that is scary.

It's probably a projection of his own fears.

As long as the US has something of value to offer to the world - technology, intellectual property, raw materials, the rest of the world will be happy to accept US dollars as payment for their things of value. Because US dollars can be used to buy those things. Heck, I'm in the UK and US dollars are worth less than a Pound Sterling, but I'd still be very happy to accept US dollars for any payments.

I think Winsor is scared that he no longer has anything of value to offer to the world, and is projecting this fear into the US Treasury debt, maybe? That's the only explanation I can think of - I can't really ask him anything as he's blocked me.

Take a number and stand in line with the rest of us, yo. I don't think he's scared. Like the rest of us he's a prisoner of what he already knows and he knows a lot of history. I doubt we'll end up like Yugoslavia or Germany, not because it's not on offer, because that is too far in the future given current conditions and because I suspect we're a short lived species.

Unfortunately, some fears are justified.  The superstitions of sailors and soldiers, for example, are mechanisms to address realities that are, and should be, terrifying.

Like mermaids and sea serpents? Or having a woman on board?

Being an unsentenced felon, not yet serving out his sentence, is he even eligible to vote in FL?

Felons in FL have to complete their sentence, probation, and pay all fines and fees - he's not there yet

My understanding, which could definitely be wrong, is that because the state felony charges are from NY state, NY’s rules apply regarding voting….

I believe Florida follows the rules of the state where the conviction occurred as you say.

My source is my aunt who hates Trump enough she stayed in the hotel next to Trump tower recently in the hope that she could flip him the bird - ironically on the day he got shot.

What a delightful lady, willing to sacrifice for all of us. Do pass on my best regards.

Hi folks,

The desperation is beginning:  new television ad from former President Donald Trump’s campaign piles deception upon deception to attack Vice President Kamala Harris on immigration. The ad uses an edited quote to attack Harris over a supposed proposal that she hasn’t actually made.

Fact check: New Trump ad uses edited quote to attack nonexistent Harris immigration proposal | CNN Politics

Expect a lot more between now & Hov 5th.

Jerry Baumchen

PS)  He just cannot get his head around on how to deal with a woman.

Go through a gale or better in blue water and get back to me.

I’ve been through the storm of living under a liberal government for decades. So far it has not made me become superstitious. Has the reality of Trump traumatized and changed the way you see the world?

Nice bit of projection.

I don't understand anything in the abnormal Trump world.

Just got an angry text from a friend who lives in Syracuse IN. Seems a bunch of Trump supporting idiots decided to run laps around the lake creating waves big enough to damage boats tied up along the shore. Checked his local news website and found this:

Trump of course, is being fast tracked through the felony votings rights process in Florida by Ron Desantis so that he will be able to vote

unlike the millions of other felons that should be able to vote but are in limbo due to the vague and impossible rules the state imposed after the people voted to restore felony voting rights

but when did Florida care about their own constitution?  Watch what Florida does to subvert legalized weed and abortion rights when they get passed as amendments this fall… they will subvert it with rules and refs that make it impossible once again

It's hard to understand the people that think internet social media sites and the First Amendment are somehow related.
