Trump is an admitted sexual predator and adjudicated rapist. He is a proven liar.  He is a proven fraud.  He is a proven thief who stole from his own foundation. He is an adulterer. I'll agree that Musk can be a visionary. I'll also agree that he can be a thoroughgoing asshole. One neither excuses nor explains the other.

And, quite frankly, his moderation of X is pretty one-sided.

No. I admire him because of what I said. He is a brilliant entrepreneur and visionary. Tesla, Starlink, SpaceX, Neuralink. This guy is going to have paralyzed individuals walk again. Trump is an asshole. Musk probably is also. I don’t know. Who cares? It’s about furthering an agenda, an agenda that’s best for America. It’s got nothing to do with feelings or emotions or what you think of someone’s behavior.

I watched a documentary the other day about flat earthers, not because I share their view, but because it’s fascinating to me that there are people who deny something so extraordinary and obvious. People, obviously because of their emotion and hate, who deny Elon Musk as a visionary make me think of flat earthers.

A lot of the time people really overuse the word 'projection', but sometimes there is no other word to use. It doesn't even occur to you that a liberal could dislike a famous liberal, because your politics are so divisive, so defined by 'us vs them' that you would never dream of distancing yourself from a famous Republican no matter what they did. Well personally I think Jeff Bezos is a sociopathic parasite and easily as evil as Musk, if a slightly different kind of evil and I couldn't give a flying fuck what political team he claims to support.

Facts don't. Musk censors Twitter based on his personal preferences.
