Slowest start to Atlantic hurricane season…

Biden is not a climate scientist, and you have yet to acknowledge that the vast majority of climate scientists think your view of the world is incorrect.

Biden is advised by climate scientists and parrots them. Clearly he is unable to form a cogent thought on his own. Michael Mann being one of them and he predicted thirty+ named storms. BTW science is not a democracy.

“No amount of climate scientists can ever prove me right; a single observation can prove me wrong". This quote reflects the idea that a single experiment can disprove a theory, but no amount of success can prove it right.”

To paraphrase AE

Milton breaks records (wral.com) - your claim of overestimating is patently false.  We accept your apology

Strongest hurricane to hit at the evening of October 9 south of Tampa FL is hardly a record of note. To paraphrase Redskins legend, Joe Riggins, if a record takes more than three words, it’s not worth much.

So because “your record” was not broken, that negates any other multiple records that were broken?

You do realize that I can hear you right?

We have already posted the absolute overwhelming plethora of data that demonstrates that current trends of weather over the last few decades are at historic levels outside of any singularity that you try to pin it to…

As I posted earlier in this thread… There are 1000 year rain events and there are 10,000-year-old glaciers’s that are melting…

and there are 10,000 year-old glaciers that are melting…

Explain how a 10,000 year old glacier melts in a normal non-human influenced weather pattern that you claim is cycling every few decades?

oh wait… I’ve just offered you a digression away from the subject of hand.

You have provided nothing to back up any claim that you are trying to make

Look at what President Biden said would happen vs what actually happened.

Individual hurricanes are incredibly difficult to predict. Milton went from a Cat 5 to a Cat 3 in less than a day before making landfall - but it easily might not have done that. Do you want politicians to prep for disasters based on best case scenarios?

Frankly, it’s incredibly small minded that you’d minimise the suffering of Floridians right now just to make a partisan political dig.

It's also incredibly laughable that Brent ---FUCKING BRENT!!!--- is talking shit about the predictive ability of others....

Brent is simply a troll, and he's sucked many of you in.

Or is he a symptom of the American underbelly of MAGA. Science doesn't matter, facts don't matter, instead the leaders that your tribe has selected tell you what to think.

If trump is elected the department of education will be eliminated. Instead private religious schools will hold sway. trump wants to cut education funding in half. The national hurricane centre is really unnecessary because the government controls the weather. Project 2025 plan calls for demolition of NOAA and National Weather Service

“Break up NOAA,” the document says, referring to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and its six main offices, including the 154-year-old National Weather Service.

“Together, these form a colossal operation that has become one of the main drivers of the climate change alarm industry and, as such, is harmful to future U.S. prosperity,” the document says.

"Donald Trump and conservatives with Project 2025 say the Department of Education is an ineffective bastion of progressivism."... right Brent.?

John, you're an old dinosaur be thankful for the ride you had and the life you lived. Now the new right and hundreds of millions of Brents are taking over. Science is dead. Long live ignorance.

Brent sets the goalpost, then moves it when it turns out that he's wrong (again), then declares victory and pats himself on the back.

He'll even keep doing that to an empty room, like how Trump waves to nonexistent audiences.

And they predicted a very active season in the Atlantic. It would seem the science is far from settled.

NOAA predicted an active season; between 17 and 24 named storms.  We just hit #17, with three weeks to go in the season.

Sounds like more evidence that this particular branch of science is fairly settled.

Might be you could use your skills in another scientific domain that would compliment your expertise in climate science and economics. Virginia Tech’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is working to make language sense out of cow moo's. Surely there's a Phd to add to your MBA there.

So we just hit the low end of a very wide window predicted by the weather guys and far below the 30+ predicted by M. Mann and company (the climate crisis guys)

We hit the predicted range from NOAA, an organization that is stating very plainly that the climate change crisis is here and is negatively affecting Americans.

Sounds like the science is pretty settled.

Isn't it officially a hoax again, as of this morning.

So why did hurricane season fall within historical ranges?  Al Gore told us we would have more hurricanes not the same amount.

You keep saying that, thinking you have a point.
