Helene looks like it will now strengthen to a Category 4 before it hits.  Rapid intensification is a characteristic of warmer than usual waters.  Storm surges could hit 20 feet.

To get back off topic, thank you, this is a report from an outfit called the BlueGreen Alliance. Sure, there are a bunch of tree huggers on the board as you'd expect but there are also some labor luminaries worth noting. They report, and it's worth accepting without examination because it's anti-Trump, that Trump sucked as President (my interpretation) and the Harris/Biden administration were rock stars.

Collin O’Mara, President and CEO, National Wildlife Federation, Co-Chair

Sounds like a typical hurricane.

JFK was a rock star, Clinton was a rock star, Obama was a rock star. Really Joe? Do you really believe Biden and Harris are rock stars? Or do you just hate Trump so much that you have to twist your mind into believing what you know is actually not true.

Not from my Google it isn't. You can lie about the facts all you want but you're not likely to fool anyone who lives in reality.

Bill is correct that your reading comprehension blows. I played a dipsey doodle to suck you in and prove the point and in you came: "They report.." were the words. Brent, Trump is a so much a real threat to our nation that your nonsensical thinking that he would be a benign placeholder defies rational understanding. I know that most of your naysayers here think you are a troll, I have previously said I think you are a deluded true believer. I now also think you are a racist and a misogynist who would vote for a criminal and likely traitor before he would vote for a women of color for president of the United States. No thank you for your service.

no one said Biden was a rock star, but ONCE AGAIN, thanks for dodging the actual thing being talked about and running off to grandstand about something else unrelated.

But here is what we do know.... Donald Trump is a crook, a con man and a convicted felon.  He stole millions of dollars from his charity, got caught, pled guilty to that, paid millions in fines and had his foundation permanently shut down

I would love to see you address that charitable foundation theft by Trump without actually talking about ANYTHING else, other than that event.  You cannot do it.

So? Your Google search will also have showed you the Investopedia page that says there was an official recession in 2020, you're just choosing to lie about it. As you've been lying about everything else during this whole discussion. You know that makes it clear that your point is not very convincing, right?

When they say “abracadabra here is free money for everyone”

No seriously, why is it that you think Presidents are solely responsible for everything that happens to the economy, with no lag or delay, except when it's something bad that happened under Trump?

Again you're ignoring that the rest of the world exists and we got COVID vaccines here even earlier than the USA did.

And we experienced similar - and slightly higher - inflation than the USA did.

Where is this information coming from? The best info I can find is that the USA hit 1M total Covid deaths since the start of the pandemic under Biden. As of now the CDC says there have been just under 1.2M total Covid deaths in the USA.

Now Republican maths may come up with a different answer, but to me 1.2M minus 0.5M does not equal >1M. (And that’s leaving aside the whole discussion of how 0.5M over 10 months compares to 0.7M over 3.5 years.)

So anyway - any sources forthcoming or are you just lying again?

Just talked to a friend who lives near the Gulf a little north of Tampa.  They are raising everything in their house, they expect it to flood.  They finally got the approval to have their house raised which will happen next year.

Hope that works out for them.

My inlaws live on the Columbia River, and they have a garage that floods once every five years or so.  They have a way to hoist the washer/dryer up about 5 feet to try to stay above the floodwaters.  It's worked every year except one.

That’s rich coming from someone who blamed everything bad happening in the last seven years on Trump?

Haven't you seen this before?  Usually it's gas prices.

Gas prices high, conservative in power: "You clueless lib!  The president has NOTHING to do with gas prices!"
Gas prices low, conservative in power: "Thank you president X for helping hardworking families make ends meet!"

Gas prices high, liberal in power: "Families are being DESTROYED by president X's high gas prices!"
Gas prices low, liberal in power: "You clueless lib!  The president has NOTHING to do with gas prices!"

That's quite the projection.

You cannot find anything I've said that is similar to you blaming the entire post Covid financial situation on Biden. Notice I'm not challenging you to find it - I'm simply stating that you can't. Because, yet again, you're just lying.
