It's quite a shit show you somehow ended up with down there. The primary system gave you Trump and Biden as your choices despite the fact that neither was wanted by the majority of the population. Now you have Harris who was never wanted by even the majority of Ds but at least most of the party is uniting behind her. All in the service of defeating the boogieman. There are many better potential options in both parties, but the system in place makes it very difficult for the cream to rise to the top. Harris is actually a reasonably good choice as far as I can see. How did that happen? Only because she did not go through the established method of choosing. She is an accidental nominee. 

Biden probably would have lived long enough to stumble through the 4 years. As a semi-competent figurehead for at least some of them though. This is all part of the price you pay for having term limited leadership in a posistion of such great power and the struggle to attain that power. But it is probably worth it because longer term leaders get so determined to hold on that they become more and more desperate and corrupt as time goes on.

When playing Army I was given a Holy Comic Book which made it clear that, regardless of one's transgressions in this life, if one repented in their last breath all was forgiven and they went straight to Heaven™.
