I think you might have missed a zero.

Seriously?

If you divide 3.4 billion by 100 million, you can think of it as a simple way to figure out how many times 100 million fits into 3.4 billion.

First, let’s break down the numbers:

- 3.4 billion is 3,400,000,000.

- 100 million is 100,000,000.

Now, imagine you have 3.4 billion in your hand, and you're taking away 100 million each time to see how many times you can do that.

So, 3,400,000,000 ÷ 100,000,000 = 34.

This means 100 million fits into 3.4 billion exactly 34 times.

Edited to add: reminds me of the memes about Americans

:rofl:Canada? Our deficit is larger than your entire GDP. 18.9% of not much, is still not that much. Canada? When the U.S. spits, Canada swims.

Boy, now there’s a way to treat our closest (physically and culturally) ally. What do you call your wife? Or can she kick your ass, and therefore you’re polite

Make that three.

A billion is only $10/taxpayer, a trillion is $10,000/taxpayer.

The actual saying is that when the US pisses Canada swims. In other words this would be the BH version of restraint and politeness.

If Canada isn't a country whose economy can be compared to the US, then which ones can? Everyone else except China is far closer to Canada than the US.

So, according to you, the guy you quoted who was comparing the US to 'other countries' was talking utter bollocks, you dont actually believe a word he was saying, and you were just trying to fool everyone because you really don't have any reason to think there was a problem with the Biden stimulus package

How about casting the tie breaker vote(s) on two trillion dollars of deficit spending, resulting in a 20% increase in prices in just three years. That is the equivalent of a massive regressive tax that hurts all Americans especially the poor. A money party is fun while it lasts but the hangover is atrocious and long lasting.

$8-9T under Trump.... according to you, Trump therefore is singlulary responsible for a massive regressive tax that hurts all americans, especially the poor.

No it’s the 1.9T on top of the 3T. While I think the 3T was more than adequate, the 1.9T added “gasoline to the fire”. While Trump is morally reprehensible, the average American was better off during the Trump administration than during the Biden administration, and the right track wrong track polling agreed with that assessment.

stop pretending that you actually care about deficits ir debts when it is apparent you do not understand debt or how it works.  And when you ESPECIALLY only care about deficits when Democrats are running the show.  It is the oldest, lamest, weakest, frailest arguments I have ever heard, and it is pretty much ALL WE HEAR from the republicans when democrats are in power.

'the average american was better off....'  no they weren't.  Because they were living under an administration that was attempting to overthrow the government and install a president outside of the rule of law and the system of elections.  In case you forgot, there are at least 2 dozen people serving time for sedition, and hundreds more serving time for other violent acts related to that sedition.

If you cannot handle a constitutional republic, then perhaps this country is not for you.....  ah but your view of the world is only consumed by the price of gas and groceries..... how broad minded.....

Try again with a topic that matters.... BTW when are you getting your bill for that debt?  I haven't seen mine yet..... maybe the democrats are clever enough to only send bill collection deficit invoices to republicans?

Every American gets $2,000/month during covid.  As it was DC was passing out money like drunken sailors.

Not only American citizens. My folks hosted a Nepalese girl while she attended university, she had graduated and was living in Switzerland and she got a check.

Two things, first of all you are confusing “attempting” with doing, so that is a big nothingburger. Secondly you are paying the bill for the Democrats money party everytime you get groceries, fill your tank, pay rent or try to buy anything on credit.

No I am not.... the national debt does not get 'paid off' when you buy groceries.

It is so PAINFULLY obvious that you have little idea about how things actually work, and yet you make continuous outlandish statements like 'wealth tax' when talking about subsidies and link Trump to 'deficit reduction' somehow.....

You CONTINUOUSLY ignore everything and anything that the republicans have done, which happens to be IDENTICAL to what you accuse democrats of doing.

You do realize we can actually read the bullshit that you write, right?  It is painful to try and wade through the crap that you espouse....

We did have deficits under both Democrat and Republican administrations but we did not have generationally high inflation until Bidenomics, which is costing the average American household $10,000+ a year.

When you only focus on stirring the pot sometimes words get mixed up. Just like when you stir a stew, the ingredients in the stew get mixed up.

Inflation was caused by trump's mismanagement of Covid. By trump's tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations. Even you know this.

Show me where you came up with that fantasy. Trump administration inflation rate was 1.9%, Biden 5.7%. Triple that of Trump.

  • Hiring: Three years and five months into Biden’s term, the U.S. economy has created 15.6 million jobs. That compares with job losses totaling 12.6 million for Trump.
  • National debt: Biden has so far added $4.3 trillion to the national debt, while Trump approved twice as much during his full term in office ($8.4 trillion).

New jobs = wealth and wealth = more spending.

Bideneconomics is just another attempt by republicans to lay blame on someone else. trump outborrowed Biden two to one.

12.6 million of Biden’s “jobs created” were simply folks returning to work, post COVID. When Trump left office, American’s back accounts were up by a trillion dollars under Biden credit card debt was more than a trillion dollars.
