So no, he didn't say "I want to eliminate tax breaks for EV buyers". He qualified his statement by saying he wants to remove all subsidies. He knows that doesn't have a snowball's change in hell of happening. Which in the future will allow him to explain why EV tax breaks or equivalent subsidies are still a thing.

The left wants to eliminate tax breaks for fossil fuels, the right wants to eliminate them for renewables and EVs…sounds like Musk’s plan is perfectly plausible

He’s got but 3 weeks to cram in what he thought would be another decade’s worth of trolling. Cut the poor guy a break: imagine how sad he’s gonna be.

I won't be as untroubled over the demise as some. I have learned much here, especially from my antagonists and, if selfishly, will miss it and all of you.
