Election threats against women

Recommended Posts

States that have bans with no exception for rape include Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee and Texas. There were 58,979 rapes in these states. Ten or fewer legal abortions per month occurred in each of these states.

Of all the states, Texas had the highest number of rape-related pregnancies: 26,313

How does our "conservative" woman feel about forcing a 14 year old rape victim to give birth to her rapist's baby?

It should be pretty clear that God's plan was for that child to be raped, traumatized , and be forced to give The State a new citizen or die trying. Amen.

The ad  that says  "you women can vote whoever you want " infantizes women.  How  condescending is this?

Don’t worry, I’ll be your protector. I’ll protect you women from these condescending liberals. I’ll protect you from them whether you like it or not.

Its not the election threatening women. Its women threatening trump. IMO come Tuesday women's vote will end the pseudo-dynasty of trump MAGA and surpass the christian right as a voting block.

After Tuesday it will be trump whimpering about cheating and more news about trump's court battles.

I agree. Some of the stats coming in about early voting seem to support Harris over Trump.
Obviously, we won't know the actual results until the votes are counted, but the demographics are fairly heavily slanted.

Also, even though the polls are close, I keep remembering the primaries.
The polls kept indicating Trump would have a 'landslide' victory, but Haley kept getting much higher vote totals than the polls suggested she would.

"It's Not Who Votes That Counts, It's Who Counts The Votes"; Josef Stalin.

Trumps attorneys were just getting spanked in court while trying to bar a county from accepting mail in ballots handed into county offices - which they are absolutely legally allowed to do.

Ever since the hanging chad fiasco the IS attitude towards counting votes is really, really fucking strange. The idea that it’s ok to create arbitrary and complex rules for filling out ballots then disqualify any vote that doesn’t exactly meet them is back-asswards crazy. The process of casting a vote is not a damn aptitude test, the system is supposed to be designed to simply find out which candidate more people want.

The Electoral College is designed to do the opposite.  It says so right there in Federalist Paper #68.

If you've not read it, you should,  https://avalon.law.yale.edu/18th_century/fed68.asp

Like that worked out well well!
