States rights take on a whole new meaning depending which side of the federal government your state is on. It will now be Newsome and Ferguson in the posistion Abbott and DeSantis have occupied. The largest economic drivers of the USA are in the coastal blue states.

Sounds a lot like concentration camps. Like all of Trump's "plans" it is nothing but a off the cuff idea that will not happen. It is just another empty promise designed to appeal to those who don't think it all the way through. Simple answers for complex problems. "We don't like the homeless, so let's ban homelessness". The other half of the promise is redirecting the money going to the defense industry to pay for Ukraine's weapons to support the poorest people in the nation. If you still believe that this will happen after thinking about it for more than a few seconds your level of naivety is exceptional. You have become another follower of a populist, not the visionary you are hoping for. And yes, Trump is very clearly a misogynist and has a known history of forcing himself on women. The media did not choose those juries.

Yes, I care more about my family and the 100k Americans dying of overdoses (my mom and 5 classmates are among them) than a problem than is to me far away.  It's too bad you don't care more about your fellow Americans.  Luckily everyone else in the country seems to.

Look, I don't expect you to get where I'm coming from because what I believe and what motivates me falls in most right wingers blind spot. I concern myself with the welfare of others when I vote. Also, I am simply appalled by Trumps behavior. He is inarguably a crude vulgarian, a puerile fool, and a dangerous narcissist, and that's just to start. I don’t understand why this is such a difficult concept to grasp. 

For the past week I’ve been debating whether to comment on my aunts FB post saying she’s ecstatic that Gods will prevailed and Trump, JD and Elon are going to fix America. The entire evangelical side of my family are thrilled with the outcome. This aunt is South African and explicitly stated that it will take a South African to sort out the immigrant problem in the US.

sorry but I do not buy your bullshit.  You only care about you and yours, and that is as far as it goes.  Trump managed to appoint a supreme Court that got rid of women's rights, specifically.... and then he bragged about it.  Dozens of republican held states had trigger laws that immediately went into effect and the onslaught continues.

In Florida we went from Roe to 15 weeks to 6 weeks in less than 2 years  And now another supermajority government in Florida I guarantee will abolish all forms of abortion for any reason, I expect a nationwide-ban as well.... Trump will simply say "Oh well that's not me, that was congress, I mean everyone wanted it, so I signed the bill"

My niece in here 20's in Orlando, is pregnant with her first child, a daughter and is outside the 6 week ban.  That means if she has a serious issue late in her pregnancy, LAWYERS will decide whether or not she gets the care she needs, or if her life is in jeopardy.  This scenario has already played out in other states with women dying waiting for decisions, even with a court order allowing them to go ahead with what they need.

So fuck your 'care about others'..... you obviously don't give a fuck about my family, my niece, her rights, or her medical conditions.  You voted for the guy that took all of that away.  My niece, my family are just collateral damage while you comfort yourself with how much you 'care'
