Because he serves a higher purpose; his posts here, and what he inspires others to write, are uplifting and give meaning. His message of offering foregiveness and understanding to those who have less and who nature has left confused gives meaning and keeps me from being a complete asshole as, apparently, God intended. Come to think about it, maybe his words spread wider would help more folks like me if we did grab his silly self and drag him screaming upstairs to a 6th floor window and bombs away!

Sounds like you have a bromance with SkyDekker.

Always it's a homosexual expectation on the right. I know Skydekker's face from his avatar only, if that's even him, so sneaking up on him from behind for a reach around would entail at least as much risk as hope. Less risk and more hope than giving it a go with a Green Beret, I suppose.

No matter, this statement by Kevin O'Leary of O'Leary Ventures and Shark Tank fame was online today regarding the ambush murder we've enjoyed discussing: "If anything good is going to come of this, it's going to be policy change because you've basically got people lighting up their torches, just like in the Frankenstein story and going to the castle, and they're going to burn it down," O’Leary told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. “And you got to hear that, so if you're an executive saying, 'get me more security guards,' wrong answer. That’s just wrong.” So Jay, it is possible for some of us to observe, imagine, and contemplate a thing without condoning the event or dismissing it's basic horror.

And always it's used as an attack, as if being gay was the worst thing you could accuse someone of.

Reminds me of the old "well, that's mighty white of you!" as a compliment.  Nowadays, of course, it is used ironically if at all - which is progress.  Hopefully the same will happen to calling people gay.

I was just making an observation. Their gayness is evident. I make no judgment.

One man's horror (Russian oligarch falling out a window) might be another man's bliss (BASE jumper falling out the same window).

Hah!

Hah!

So…..does that justify shooting them in the streets?

No.

I draw the line at political violence.

Ever since Alfred Pinisch died (1964) I have abhored political violence. Alfred was a family friend who died in a bungled FLQ raid on a gun store in Montreal.

We should not have to suffer political violence in North America.

Your attempt to back out of your shot at an insult is noted.

Why? Is there something wrong with being gay? Is there something wrong with me pointing that out as opposed to someone else? How do you know that I’m not a supporter? This is a free country. I fully support SkyDekker in whatever deviant behavior he chooses. It’s got nothing to do with me.

I agree with riggerrob.

Killing the CEO of a medical insurance company is too gentle. He deserves to spend eternity in a poorly-staffed, poorly-equipped, burn unit with the bare minimum of drugs as scheduled for his poorest subscriber.

I know - from personal experience - how long term pain can drive a man insane. Good thing for the faceless bureaucrats at Workmans' Compensation Board of British Columbia that I sold my guns years ago.

If any gov't troll finds this post, he is welcome to take a long hard suck on my hot knife.

I believe in following the law. I believe in the presumption of innocence. I believe guilt must be proven in a court. I also believe, if guilty, the penalty should fit the crime. I believe the sentence should be carried out by the justice system and not vigilantes. I’m assuming that you were just being hyperbolic.

So you agree Trump is a felon and an adjudicated rapist.

You also agree with the guilty verdicts of the Jan 6 perpetrators.

And you are abhorred Trump's Federal cases have been dropped.

Right?

I believe Trump was convicted in NY and that it was politically motivated. I believe that it all would have been overturned in appellate court. I believe the cases being dropped is because they were BS to begin with.
