Preemptive Pardon

Oh BTW if you had done your homework you would know that McCarthy was a Democrat

True - and just like Trump he had to switch to the Republican Party in order to find a constituency damn fool enough to elect him. Is that where you’re going with that?

The funny thing here is it shows how dead bipartisanship is in the USA when a Democrat president can be absolutely slated from both sides for doing exactly what Republican voters asked him to do.

You voted for the president and his family to be above the law. You voted for government positions and influence to be given to the president’s family for them to peddle. You voted for people committing crime on behalf of the president to be pardoned. You voted for complete political control of the justice system.

And yet here, if everything you say is true, we have a Democrat President finally running the administration the exact same way you want it to be run and you’re still not happy.

Is that for all of them? I know New York is state level

His only actual convictions were the New York state charges.

The indictments in Georgia were also state charges.

The "election interference" (insurrection attempt) in DC and the Classified Document charges in Florida were federal charges.

Interesting...

...

the Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution protects people from having to answer questions before Congress if it could help a prosecution case against them or compel them to make self-incriminating statements.

With Hunter now free from all his criminal cases, he cannot use the Fifth Amendment to refuse to answer questions.

What did he plead the fith amendment to when he appeared before Congress?

What do you want him to answer question about?

And before you answer, you may want to read the following:

Was anyone charged with insurrection?

People have been charged with and convicted of seditious conspiracy.

I can't wait to read your dissertation about the key and subtle differences between 18 U.S. Code § 2383 and 18 U.S. Code § 2384.

Then it is truly shocking and corrupt that Trump has vowed to prosecute them, has nominated an FBI director who has vowed to investigate them, and an AG who will enthusiastically go along with it. You must be horrified at such blatant abuses of the power of the state being planned in the open.

Go on, say that it’s shocking, authoritarian and wrong. Tell the truth for once.

yeah, example... why would Matt Gaetz ask for a pardon if he has done nothing wrong?  Fact Check Reporter - Newsweek

Trump: "Only the mob invokes the Fifth."

Also Trump: invoked the fifth 450 times during a deposition.

Sure he can.  Biden can instruct him not to answer such questions via an executive order.  That act is now protected against any later prosecution or second guessing, per Trump's Supreme Court.

I haven't a clue.

Right - so he faced hour upon hour of questioning in front of a Congressional committee that constantly claims to have uncovered conclusive evidence of Biden family corruption and did not take the fifth one single time that you are aware of.

So what are you actually talking about right now?

Fox News, OAN and Joe Rogan aren't talking about this right now, so follow up questions will go unanswered.
