Hi folks,

Let's see what the MAGA-idiots will say when the next disaster effects them:  States to lose out on billions if GOP spurns disaster aid in spending bill, Dems say • Oregon Capital Chronicle

I say let the house burn down. It's like training a willful dog: sometimes good boys and head scratches will do the job, but sometimes the best course of action is a good boot. Farmers especially need a lesson. I'll be happy when I see those full sheet of plywood Trump signs turned over and repurposed as For Sale signs. We can not start wincing because it's Christmas or the kids aren't at fault or any of the other weak responses we're known for. It's time for a swift kick in the slats

Except innocent people who voted against Trump are being hurt.

The news cycle has moved on from the hurricane impact, yet people are still dealing with the aftermath.

Innocent people will be hurt either way, including young people and non-voters. Nows the time to harden up

Hi Joe,

Yup; except if RFK Jr has his way, that might not work:  Louisiana forbids public health workers from promoting COVID, flu and mpox shots : Shots - Health News : NPR

It is going to be interesting to watch how many MAGA-idiots, living in these red states, are no longer with us in 2027 or so.

Ignorance will eventually eliminate mankind.

We were lucky with Covid, all we need is a virus that replicates, changes, and infects at just a little faster rate and we're DONE.

Stupid fuckers.

Rand Paul today:

"The Speaker of the House need not be a member of Congress . . .

Nothing would disrupt the swamp more than electing Elon Musk . . . think about it .  . . nothing’s impossible. (not to mention the joy at seeing the collective establishment, aka ‘uniparty,’ lose their ever-lovin’ minds)"

Oh please please do it!!!!!  I want to watch the dumpster fire.

Rest easy; there is no way he would accept that position. Too many duties, obligations, protocols and etiquette that comes with it. Musk has "fuck you" money; there's nobody that gets to tell him when and where to be and how to behave while he is there.

It bothers you a lot that you have no control over him, it sounds like.

Innocent people die in civil wars too. I no longer care. In fact I am at the point that I want Trump to burn it down. Remove all freedoms, give every nickel of wealth to himself and cronies, tank the economy, destroy the government and stop everything from working, overt secrecy, alliances with our enemies, totalitarianism and rule by edict

fuck it, the quicker we get to that, the quicker it would right itself. Better than dragging out for another 50 years which is now long Bannon says the GOP will rule

and I have every reason to believe that to be true

Hmm, I thought the government worked for the people. Sounds like you are happy that Trump will see unyielding and unchecked power

8 years ago the dz.com user Lurch wrote a diatribe about exactly that was why he was voting for Trump. Hasn't worked yet.

Good news for republicans!

After Trump and Musk demanded that the bipartisan compromise be rejected, they then approved a slimmed-down plan that cut all funding for pediatric cancer research.  This is a win/win.  They will save a few tens of millions, and two year olds can learn responsibility and consequences by paying for their own cancer research!
