It will be interesting to see whether or not folks migrate back here. (I bet a good number will take the opportunity to withdraw from what was mostly just a time waster, even if they find out it still exists.)

Curious about how the word will get out that the forums are back. I posted in the Skydiving Reddit and a group on FB but pretty much no activity in the forums other than on the DB Copper thread

I believe the announcement to sell came in October. WIth the more than usual nastiness that occurred in this last election cycle; I had pretty much resigned myself to leaving anyway. People that we know/knew and spent time with hurling insults at each other like some political camel-spitting contest became too much. 

There was a time where we educated each other on our positions instead of hurling prejoratives. It became more toxic than usual. Before it closed, a couple of posters implied they could meet at BlueSky. I will peek in at times, but will not participate in the vile.

 The spitting and mud throwing will come and go with the emotions of modernity's zeitgeist. Debates get heated. I learn so much here.After all, that mud that we throw.Shirley,it doesn't Smell like mud. LOL

Hi Ian,

It looks like the Get-Go is on the really slow side.

Hopefully, more people will find the new site & get it going.
