Well.....maybe more than slightly. As the dotard spits on the agreement he made a few years ago (and declared the most beautiful trade deal ever) my fellow countrymen are losing it completely. I have never seen this level of anger toward our neighbour before. Booing The Star Spangled Banner is a little over the top, but it is happening at sports events all over the nation. What can I say? Sorry, we don't actually hate all y'all, but could you do something about the madman and his bullshit please.

He really seems motivated by Putin and has implied/said over the weekend that the only way to end tariffs is to give up their sovereignty.

It looks Mexico & you guys called his bluff.

It seems that he has agreed to 'pause' the tariffs on Mexico & Canada:  Trump puts Mexico and Canada tariffs on hold : NPR

IMO it makes him look like what he is:  A paper tiger.

I think of him more as an attention seeker. He needs to do stuff to get people talking about him. No doubt Elon and the other billionaires talked him down from the ledge.

I doubt Canada and Mexico were sitting on their arses doing nothing. So now they increase border security with their troops etc.

A am very sure that he is both.

He definitely does like the attention. 

While am a, for sure no medical expert, I think that he seeks the attention due to what he perceives, personally, as his own short-comings as person.

I get that it’s frustrating when you see crime go up in your area, and I believe you that it’s from illegal immigrants. I doubt they were from Canada though.

In Winnipeg at last night's NHL game against the Islanders when the US anthem started there were only a few people booing. Then they were drowned out by more people who began to cheer to overcome them. That's the way it should be.

I do think it is his serious desire. It would make him a very important POTUS and secure him a place in history. I do not believe that he will actually do much to achieve it. However, he needs to clearly understand that there are lines even he needs to respect.

The US does not need to take over Greenland. Anymore than Russia needs to take over Ukraine. What it needs to do is establish a strong mutually favourable relationship based on treaties and agreements. Like it has for decades. Having the US federal government taken over by madness does not change that.

Oh, agreed to all of that.  I am sure he really wants it.  But it's at the level of the 10 year old who wants to be an astronaut.  He can want that all he wants, but unless he wants to put in another 15 years of work it's not happening.  And tomorrow he'll decide he wants to be a cowboy, anyway.
